No place to go In the last two years I have been able to come onto this site and post my thoughts, my feelings, and my inspirations. This night... this moment is no different. No place to go as the title reads is about not knowing where I am, and if I don't know where I am... how am I suppose to get where I need to be? Here goes nothing... I've traveled from far away Left and lost, but I came anyway One brisk morning you stood in my way I could have ran you down, but I wanted you to stay Time has past, memories been made I know I've loved you since the very first day You were inspiration when my thoughts were dry You were strength when I felt the need to cry My soul aches to stand by yours Two damaged beings coming to merge Without you part of my world dies Pain shrieking thoughts cause pain inside ...My soul bleeds from open wounds... ...If this is the end, may I beg to die... (I have sense written my poem and it's... depressing. It is a little darker than I had intended it to be, but that where the inspiration led me I guess. For all whom read it, the 'inspiration' for this piece isn't a bad as the ending portrays it, but it is kind of dark and moving... I'll admit that.) |

I don't know, I think it is in how an individual reads in. It can be either dark or light depending on the context it is taken.
