Re: stuff
I wanna find a pretty picture to put by my name hmmm where to look..... and yes I want some shows!!! anything I need a concert!! It's been a month and 11 days *shakes from withdrawl*
Re: stuff
I just saw Live at the H.O.B. in Orlando. Finally got to see them and they kicked ass. And I also believe I had a Mr. Hestla sighting at the show. Not 100% sure it was him because it was so crowded there but i'm pretty sure it was. Anyone else there that can verify that?
Re: stuff
I saw Live almost a year ago, beleive it was June 26th...*runs to check ticket stub memory box* ...June 29th, I must be mid-dyslexic or soemthing. Anywayz, they were my first "big" concert. Newfoundland sucked before we got our Mile One Stadium. Now we actually get half decent bands here, hosted the Juno's a few months back. It's all good.
-They were WICKED, a real great band to have as your first. I've loved them since "Lightening Crashes"!
Re: stuff
i think i posted this like a year ago, but i'd like to say that live was one of the worst bands i've ever seen "live." it was last summer. ed decided to sing all of the hits (which is a good idea). however, he sang the wrong notes the whole time (bad, eddie). i understand when bands want to change it up a little, but when every single song has a different tune, it's just not fun to listen to, especially when the singer is trying to hit notes that he can't hit.
my opinion
-leenis...you know two wrongs don't make it right, but even doves know when to fight...we want a concert...
Re: stuff
i saw them in november and, to be honest, it was ed's performance that kept me from making a real effort to see them this time, despite access to free tickets. musically, ed, and the band, sounded great. however, ed's between-song banter was straight outta "pandering rockstar 101". actual quote:"wow! o-town! does that stand for orlando...or orgasm?" when ranting about the sorry state of music: "nsync...can get me a drink!" and then some tirade about things he'd like to do to britney spears. this wouldn't have bothered me if i were at a poison show, but don't give me peter gabriel in your lyrics and i.c.p. between songs. it smacks of dishonesty.
Re: stuff
last time i saw Live, stabbing westward opened and kinda pulled me up on stage and shit. after them, i was kinda in another world and didnt pay much attention to Live. time i saw them before that though they were good though
Re: stuff
+LIVE+ i think is incredible in conert. I saw them the first time they ever played birmingham, back on the SS tour and as it turns out, Brett and the rest of his band were all there and he said he thought they were great, so i wouldn't doubt that you saw Mr. Hestla there.
