Outlaw / sprint car racing?...
Our group of racers are looking into running Outlaws, sprint cars or "modifieds" at the local oval track. The idea is most definitely in its infant stages!
If any of you have experience with this type of racing, I would be interested in anything you could share...
-Lexan vs. "Hard body"
-Tyco / Tomy / or other chassis?
-Links
-Set-ups
-Slide Guides for standard slot?
We (as a group ) would need to order parts/bodies for about 20-30 cars to stock at the track.
We will more than likely run some sort of "stock" chassis with any material electrical system within original configuration, any tire / wheel, and possibly any crown gear / 7 tooth pinion.
I think it would be cool to run a Tyco chassis with only one, or none, of the traction magnets, and I'm sure I'm not the first!
I'm interested in what all of you have done with these cars!
