Pain I heard your voice today I thought the world was ending You spoke in soft and quiet tones and your words echoed with moans I knew the world was not at an end yet I felt a deep and sorrowful loss Your words were filled with tones of pain and the sky was full of clouds and rain It seemed you both belonged together pain and sorrow, rain and clouds Yet I knew this was not so your pain seemed here to stay while the clouds I knew would go I wanted badly to reach out ease the pain and tend the hurts Yet there seemed to be a wall over which I could not crawl I ached when I heard you speak so low for I knew that much was wrong I know not how to reach out to you but this I know I can do be here, be there, be ready |

I liked this, especially how you compared to the the one you wrote about to the rain. Well done.
When you can see no light in the darkness, it's merely hidden by the shadows. |
