The Feldjäger was designed as light, fast raider and scout type unit for use in areas where larger Ogres couldn’t operate. It proved usefulness during the early days of the PE invasion of the UK, as small Feldjäger “wolf packs” (groups of two or three Feldjägers)reeked havoc in Combine rear areas by raiding ammo and supply depots, destroying critical communication nodes, and pinning down retreating Combine troops until larger PE units could arrive.
