Park Just Ain't Safe Anymore

*Raven walked into the parimeter of the park, nervously scanning the surroundings. She began a sweep of the park, keeping close to the outside. She wore a long black slender coat, and a semi-official custom uniform under neither, composed of black pants, a black sleeveless shirt, and boots. Her Berrettas never left her sides

The letter had been there when she returned to CUP base after the long and grueling fight at Lyun. She stared at it for a good hour in disbelief, still in the fax machine. She didn't know what to make of the past day. Killer mobile suits, and a dead fiances coming to haunt her did not make for a good day. He had been so cold to her. Why?

Out of the corner of her eye, she spotted a man with long blonde hair. Was it him? She couldn't tell from the angle she was at. She slowly and cautiously began to circle around closer for a better look. After all, she did shoot at her before. He seemed distressed*

A rollercoaster could be heard in the distance, and "north" of the park a Ferris wheel could be seen creasing the treeline. In a quiet corner of the park, a man with long blonde hair sat in a bench, wearign a rather unusual military uniform. His face was nose deep in a book about the Klu Klux Klan. Birds sang, and for some reason this sent shivers down the man's spine. "You won't see me coming. You may know I'm coming, but you won't know I'm there. 'Least not until you find that hole in your heart."

He giggled slightly, a bad habit but he couldn't help it. Just a little closer. "You won't see me coming. You may know I'm coming, but you won't know I'm there. He held his left hand up, elegantly so, motioning her to come closer. He should have gathered more data but he couldn't make a positive mask. She was almost into the target range. For whatever reason, she didn't move from her spot. She had had 3 years with CUP, and she had been able to refine her cop instinct to the fine-tuned 6th sense. Something about this screamed "don't go". Besides that voice yelling at her in her head, this was simply not something Haumen would do. Why go to Eden Park to converse? Their "special" place had always been the central pylon tower on Lyun 1. It was secluded and held meaning. He would pick there for a meeting, if any. She began scanning the surrounding area. "Who woulda thought some damned Guppy Bitch would be so smart..." Bushes rustled, trees shook and 8 Carthasis troopers dropped down. Four of them carried assault rifles, the others simply had a sidearm. Those four rushed her to grab her. "You won't see me coming. You may know I'm coming, but you won't know I'm there. She raised her guns, taking quick aim at their heads, and fired shots at all 4 of them, before making a dash towards the outside of the park. Thankfully, or in Jenkins case, not, there were no other witnesses yet. He'd ensured that by ordering the area closed off. As much as he loved a "cleanup job" he couldn't let this one get out. The four Troopers surrounded her, the one holding his now bleeding forearm. The ones with Assault rifles kept watch of the perimeter. One of them held up a handgun with a tranq round. "Nighty nighty.." He shot it into ehr neck. "Good job.. now lets get her to base..." He popped a shot in the tied up womans head and left her lay there. "You won't see me coming.
