Passion of Christ Discussion

Liked it alot. More then just violent or 'realistic' though. I liked its sense of the artistic very much.

I'm just little ticked with the complaints of 'too much violence' 'promotes anti-semetism'. They really miss the whole point of the movie. Discuss :P

JonGCR Private Posts: 17 (3/6/04 11:39 pm) Reply	Re: Passion I saw it on the 5th. I thought it was a very good movie. It really changes the way you think about the crucifiction. If anything it strongly improves your faith because the impact of what he went through for us is made more apparent.

Communion always was a time when I would be thinking and praying about Jesus dying for me, and ask Him to search me and tell me what I should change or surrender. Just that now I have a vivid picture of Him in the communion context too! CGamer1 Posts: 167 (3/8/04 7:40 pm) Reply	Re: Passion I thought it was an excellent movie. I particularly liked the way the devil was portrayed as the tempter of Jesus.. A lot of people forget or seem to that Christ was tempted in all points as we are yet without sin.

However since most people don't have a clue what it's supposed to represent it just ends up being very disturbing.
