Pollard in 75th during WWII
I found a patch of the 75th in my grandmothers things. She had three sons who were in WWII. One was in the battle of the bulge. His name was Lorin (Speed) Pollard from Clarke County, IA. I have no idea of any other information other then a few pictures. Lorin was an uncle of mine and I'm doing the genealogy of the family. His brothers who also served in the war were George and Marvin. Marvin joined when he was about 14 years old when he lied about his age. I believe he was a clerk so didn't serve in the 75th I'm sure.

Joseph,

You might want to use some of the links on my website if your interested in researching this matter further. I would also suggest dropping an email to Rolf Wilmink (his email link is on my site as well) as he has a number of veterans that he is in contact with.

Best,
Jay
