Poor Elijah!! or... not so poor?
It must have been hard for him, you know, growing up without a 'male' image of himself. Or maybe he just didn't care, who knows? I think that must depend on the education his parents gave him.
I mean, he has a very soft voice (which, don't take me wrong, I adore) and his features are really smooth. Why do you think that in fanfics they mostly describe Frodo as 'elfish-like', if not? That, surely based mostly on the movie character I think.
On the other hand, Dom is really handsome, you know, male-like. That is why I see him as the 'strong' one. AAaaawww, that is soo romantic for me. And that's the reason I wouldn't mind that much of them being a couple. Maybe if someone said that Lijh was hanging around with Sir Ian McKellen I would be mad. Because I don't think they do a good match. So what do you think? Can you think of another actor he could make a great match with?
Good question, I think Joaquin phoenix , he's not to old and I think is a little similar to lij personality , dosen't like to be in the hollywood scene and he has one of the most gourgeos eyes like lij, big and blue, and he like to be different like lij or autentic. OH and he is a great actor too.

I don't think it makes a difference that he grew up will girls, he has a brother too.
I live (hapf the time) with my mother and my 7 yr old brother. He is the most girl crazy boy I have ever met. I don't think it makes a hell of a lot of difference who raises you.
Elijah is just the way he is
I don't think I would personally match him with anyone else lol... but I think Sir Ian McKellen is an amazing actor and a really good person. (though I think he is a bit catty sometimes lol)

Well, what I meant by saying that he didn't grow with a 'male' image of himself was that maybe he did see the difference between his smooth features and every other guy's his age, even with his brother's. Because his brother isn't that smooth, I think. And about his raising I meant that, if his parents raised him to be very sure of himself, maybe he never minded at all about his physics.

hum...actually some of my guy friends they raised with their mom and they are still vert manly, and i guess since his brother is so much older than him, maybe his brother can be his role model...

Anyone explain me???? I don't understand the topic... I know Elijah has a sister and a brother, but I don't know where I heard he was the older of the three or not?
Btw... I have so many boy friends that lost his father and have grown up without any male role... and they are not *smooth?*
But I saw some interviews of Elijah and I don't think he is manered at all... I think he is inmature... child like... but not manered... (if it is say manered by the way )

lol Vadas.... you know I never NEVER know the name of the people who I'm talking about.... the red-hair one I meant on my post is Harry Potter's mate... the guy is with him in the movie.... that red-hair one that have lots of brothers.....
And the girl.... the girl also on Harry Potter's .... I never remember her name.... In spanish is Armion but I don't know in english....

Well, the topic was originally about who would be the 'woman' in the Dominic/Elijah relationship, and how Elijah's raising (or how his parents educated him if you don't understand what I meant) would affect in him having trouble with his smooth facial features -comparing them to most of the guys his age-.
But, I didn't understand quite well what you said about Daniel here, Nora. Are you talking about who would be the 'woman' in an Elijah/grown-up Daniel relationship??

I think Elijah is the 'man' in Dom/Elijah relationship. Just because I think he seems stronger than Dom... well... maybe the word is not "strong"... I think being "new" to all this, makes you stronger than one that knows what is all about.... makes you to fail and to think that you are not doing it right, and having the chance to change it all, to stop it, makes you stronger than the other.... do I make sense?

You sort of make sense there Saura, i just dont believe that they are "together". If they were girls and had the touchie feely realtionship that they have no -one would say anything about it, i am proud of them for being able to show affection for each other, males are usually called gay for having a softer side.

Nope, do not believe AT ALL that they're 'together' - I mean, Dom and Elijah? They're just friends! They're just show their affection for one another in a more softer way - but they don't seem gay to me at all! Like Mandi said - if it were girls, there wouldn't be such a thing! For example, Orlando talks a lot of great stuff about Viggo and in an interview, he said that he sounded like he was 'in love' with Viggo (of course, he was joking) Well, what do you know - he's going out with she-who-shall-not-be-named (for Mandi's sake)...
