This was just posted on the Covina Message Board. I have no idea who the unknown source is or the truth of it. But if he/she is right, roswell has been cancelled, therefore no Season 4. For what it's worth:
IT'S OFFICIAL ROSWELL IS CANCELED. THE LAST DAY OF FILMING IS MARCH 9,02 ON LOCATION. WE WILL NOT BE BACK TO COVINA. HOW EVER, WE DID LOVE THE CITY AND IT'S SURROUNDINGS. COVINA WAS GOOD TO US AND WE THANK YOU.

Well there are definately errors in this post. I know for a fact that they are on location today and tomorrow, however, the last day of filming is on Monday March 11 and the location is the stage on the Paramount lot. As far as the show being canceled, the timing is all wrong for an official announcement and no one on the crew that I spoke with on Tuesday (and I had more crewmembers come up and speak with me than I have ever spoken with before) knew anything about the future of the show. I asked many times if anyone had heard anything about cancellation/season 4 and everyone told me that there was no news among the crew. I still believe that there is a decent chance that the show will film a seaso

(((sigh)))... my heart has sunk... i still have some hope left in me though!!! thanks for the info ryal... i just wish it could have been nicer news...

Not to worry. Vicki's copy of Covina Guys post above has put this rumor to rest.

I have been told by more than one reliable source not to count our chickens until they hatch. In other words let ignore all these nay sayers and keep campaigning and spreading the word of Roswell!
We did it twice why not three times.
No official word will be released until May 15. Until then UPN can add Roswell to it's schedule or remove it as many times as they want. Come May 15 we will know for sure.
