Practice 1/2 (hopefully)
Felicity had just purchased her new broom and was nervously pacing the field waiting for someone to arrive on the field. "Come on... " she said annoyed checking her watch.
Retreating to a bench just off of the field she sat and waited for the next person to arrive.
Eris was decked out in her new quidditch gear and clutching her new nimbus 2001 in her hand. She had her beater bat under her arm and nearly dropped it when she spotted Felicity. She hurried over to her and propped her broom against the bench. "Good afternoon." Eris said cheerfully, noticing the field was empty except for the two of them. "Where is everyone?" She said, adjusting her gloves.

Struggling with her quidditch gear, Briana strolled happily into view. She was glad that she was still Hufflepuff's keeper, but she couldn't help but feel nervous. Spotting the two other girls in yellow robes, she waved at them.
"Hey...I take it that the others are late?" She said as she approached them, her broom tucked firmly under her arm.

Felicity smiled lightly to the two girls, "Late doesn't even begin to cover it." she said quickly and grabbed her broom. "Since some people are already late and we have a game approaching let's start running some drills."
The thrill of being captain was worn out on her, and Felicity never cared to be the team captain in the first place. "Bri, you get up to your goal posts, Eris and I will toss the ball back and forth and try to score against you. We'll each take turns keeping. Once we get some more people here, I'll release the bludgers and then the snitch if our seeker ever shows up... blood seekers," she murmumed the last part under her breath.
Grasping the Quaffle under her right arm, and her broom in the other, she mounted her boom and kicked off from the ground, the wind in her hair, "Well? What are you two waiting for? Let's get it started!" She threw the ball to the other end of the pitch so that Eris would have to make a mad dash for it.

"Righto Flick." Briana grinned cheekily, mounting her broom and pushing hard off the ground. She felt the cool air slap against her face and enjoyed the fast few seconds to her short destination. As soon as she reached the goal post, her nerves disappeared. Watching the Quaffle, which was apparently aimed at Eris, drop quickly to the ground, Briana happily flew her broom in and out of the hoop(s?). Then after a few tiny 'laps' of warmup, she tightened her fingers around the nose of her broom and fixed her gaze on the ball, concentrating hard not to let it out of her sight.
((Just so you know the quaffle was not aimed at you and you can not say if it hit the ground. That's power playing in quidditch.))
((sorry ari didnt mean to pp. but just to clear it up, (a) i know it wasnt aimed at me and (b) i meant to say that it dropped quickly towards the ground, since flick mentioned that she threw the ball to the other end of the pitch so Eris would have to make a mad dash for it. wont assume next time ))
Re: Practice 1/2 (hopefully)Jetta ran to the field, and saw that they had already started to practice. She had her practice quidditch robes on, and had her fierbolt in her hand. "Bloody hell, felicity's going to kill me." She said, she knew Felicty didn't like people being late. She Quickly mounted her broom and flew up to where felicity was. "I am soo sorry i'm late, i lost track of time." She said with an a pologetic look before she took off to do a couple of laps to warm up. Once she had finished that she flew a little bit higher than everyone and started searching for the snitch.

Eris' eyes widened as Felicity threw the quaffle before she had the chance to mount her broom. She did so quickly, her beater bat tucked under her arm, and kicked off the ground as hard as she could. The wind blew her dark brown hair back from her face as she gained altitude. It was a welcome, exhilarating feeling as far as the fourth year was concerned, and she leaned forward, her grip tightened, and sped to the other end of the field. Her robes danced in the wind behind her as she flew, her heart beat quickening as adrenaline pumped through her veins, dark brown eyes locked on the quaffle. Eris had to kick it into high gear if she planned on catching it. She leaned closer to her broom, gripping it tightly with one hand as she made the decision to put her beater bat into her robe pocket. Her hair began to lash at her face as she neared the quickly descending quaffle. Eris decreased her altitude, flying dangerously low as she positioned herself beneath the quaffle. Eris let go of her broom, squeezing it tightly with her thighs as she barely caught the ball. She drew it into her chest, one hand scrambling for her broom.

A small smile crept across Felicity's face. "Good catch." she shouted to Eris who was at the other end of the field. Turning her hovering broom to see Jetta she shouted at her, "Lateness is not an excuse Jetta! And if you're looking for the snitch, you'll never find it because I haven't released it yet." not wanting to shout much more she flew over to Jetta, "We're running some throwing and catching and goalie drills, then once we're all warmed up, I'll release the snitch for you."
Without saying another word she flew to the center of the pitch, and put the tip of her wand to her throat, "sonorus," and her voice was now magically magnified, "Ok Ladies... we still don't have quite everyone here yet, but let's get the drill going. Jetta, Eris, and myself will pass the ball between each other and try to score against you Bri. We'll each take one shot on the goal, and then rotate. I'll keep next.
"Even if a goal is not made, we will still rotate. I have an important meeting with Professor Bane that I can not miss and I'm sure you all have very important things to do tonight as well. quietus". The charm ended, "OK! Eris throw the ball to me!" Felicity darted in a defense pattern to accept the ball from Eris.

Eris tucked the quaffle under her arm as she darted upward.
"I'm a horrible shot...hence the reason I became a beater. I hit harder than I throw." Eris thought as a slight smirk crossed her lips. She wasn't normally a violent individual, but there was something about a bludger induced bloody nose that made her smile. She flew around a bit, dodging imaginary opponents until she had a clear shot of Felicity. Eris pulled her arm back and threw the quaffle in the general direction of the captain; hoping for the best as she watched the dark red ball soar through the air.

Felicity caught the ball hard and did a sideways roll on her broom, then with much force and agility she threw the ball to Jetta.

Jetta gave an apologetic smile and a small laugh at herself. "Oops." Was all she could think to say, she was looking for something that wasn't even out!
Jetta caught the ball thrown at her by felicity, flew up a bit, turned halfway on her broom, and threw it back to Eris as she flew lower as to not be hit by felicity and eris who were probably heading in the same direction. Once the ball was caught, jetta went back up to her position flying towards the goal with the other girls.
Briana watched patiently as the ball was being thrown around the pitch and grumbled jokingly. "C'mon guys, I need to practice as well." She grinned, flying in and out of the hoops.

Eris caught the quaffle, and held it close to her body as she zoomed across the pitch. She heard bits of Briana's comment between the whistling of wind whizzing past her face. She was heading toward the hoops at a rather quick pace. She positioned herself infront of the center ring and threw the quaffle with all her might.

Nearly slipping off her broom, Briana swerved messily towards the speeding quaffle and since she had no time to catch the ball in her hands she decided to obstruct it from its path with her body. Although she had managed to successfully 'block' it she wasn't sure whether that was allowed in quidditch. So sitting upright once more, she gave a nervous chuckle to the others as she rubbed the arm that the quaffle bounced off. "At least I stopped it getting in..." Briana said hopefully.
