QUESTIONS RE: V7 LONGITUDINAL ACCENT STRIPE
I CURRENTLY HAVE A '69 ROADRUNNER THAT HAS THE V7 PAINT CODE THAT I UNDERSTAND IS THE CODE FOR A ACCENT STRIP LONGITUDINAL (PAINTED). DOES ANYONE HAVE THE EXACT DIMENSIONS OF THE STRIPE AND EXACTLY HOW IT IS PLACED ON THE VEHICLE?. ALSO, IF YOU HAVE ANY PHOTOS OF IT OR WHERE I CAN GET THEM IT WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED.

P.S. I HAVE BEEN TOLD BY A FRIEND THAT HE HAS SEEN THE STRIPE LISTED ABOVE ON A SURVIVOR VEHICLE AND AS FAR AS HE COULD REMEMBER THE STRIPE WAS APPROX. 3/8 TO 1/4 " WIDE, RAN THE ENTIRE LENGTH OF THE VEHICLE. STARTING 3/4" FROM THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE AND STOPPING 3/4" FROM THE END. IT FOLLOWED THE TOP OF THE FENDER LINES APPROX. 3/4" DOWN. LIKE I HAD SAID PREVIOUSLY THESE ARE ALL APPROXIMATES AND I WOULD SURE LIKE THE EXACT DIMENSIONS.

As far as I know, the stripe was NOT painted in 69. It's a sticker. I have the white stripe on mine

Well, I can't get the link thing to work so you can see a pic...if you copy and paste the url on there you should be able to get to my home page and check out the strip...and my nice clean as a whistle 383...8)
