Question on Digimon Forms
If we use an already existing Digimon (not a digidestinied one), can we make up some of their evolutions, especially when they’re unknown? (Ex: If I were to have Unimon as a partner, and his lesser forms and higher forms are unknown.)

Also, I don't quite understand the Digi-shifted forms. What are those?

Well this is a special feature and new form of digivolution thanks to the several years that have passed, the head digibonder Jen and the new digivices since they are slightly different from normal digivices.

Digishifting makes a rookie digimon a super form of their regular self with perhaps more armour and stronger attacks and defense. It gives a rookie the strength of a champion digimon and is easier to do once it has been tried a few times, that is to say it drains less energy than digivolving to champion or ultimate and digimon can stay in this form for awhile.
