 RPG Rules (Must Read!)
Rules:
* Keep prophanity to a minimum: Mild cussing is allowed, as long as its in character (ie Remus would not be saying 'f--- this and f--- that'). k?
* Relationships in 7th year are bound to be more mature...hugs and kisses around the castle are fine, however anything that goes much beyond this must be done in the Astronomy Tower. You'll need to get the password from one of the mods to enter the forum....but please keep posts tasteful. No explicit details...you can insinuate what happens next, or cut to what happens when they wake up together or something...be creative, not obscene.
Also, you can't just write up a character and say 'oh, i'm _____'s boyfriend/girlfriend' because, like in real life, there needs to be interaction and co-operation on both parts....in other words, if you want your character to be involved with another one, you've gotta earn it.
* Keep to your own character. You control only your character, you cannot make Severus Snape jump off a bridge if you play James Potter. If you wish to have two characters working together then you must ask the person who plays the other character (in the thread request forum, or by PM). Try doing the 2 characters over IM (instant messenger)
* No flaming other players. Fine, if your characters are enemies, then the characters can bitch at each other, but i will not tolerate players slagging each other off. If you have a problem, sort it out elsewhere.
* If you dont post for 3 weeks in a row you forfit your character and it becomes available for others to adapt and play.
Sorry, but it really holds up the RPG if regular posters are in conversation with someone who only replies once every month. If you don't post because you're bored, then try interacting with people - There are plenty of characters around to talk to and loads of things to do - especially in a Magic School!
* Posts must be 5 lines MINIMUM! Thats 5 lines of writing, not just 5 sentances! Why? One liners do my head in, and not only are they hard to reply to, but they're a waste of a post. Be creative - be descriptive! Write about your characters thoughts, feelings...or about what they can see, and hear. Have fun with it!
