Ok...since no one has answered this post I'm going to assume no one knows the answers I'm asking...therefore, I will tell what I've learnt since my last post...to recieve the chicobo card one needs to catch a chocobo at 6 of the 7 (the 7th forest is a sacred forest...one doesnt need to catch a chocobo here) chocobo forests (one needs to catch the chocobo themselves...having the kid do it doesnt count). After one has caught a chocobo at each of the forests they can go to the chocobo forest nearest to where trabia garden was, ride the chocobo into the shallows and onto the area of esthar that is heavily forested...the sacred chocobo forest is in this area. Upon arriving at this sacred forest the adult chocoboes will do a little dance and a baby chocobo will drop down. Talk to the baby chocobo ahd the chicobo card is yours.

The pandemona card can be won from the hotel owner in balamb...he is the one standing outside of the hotel.

The alexander card can be won from piet...he is the head technician at lunar base, he also is the one in the escape pod. If one hasnt gotten the card from him before the escape pod crashes one can go south of tears point and find the escape pod's crash site and play him for the card there too.

The laguna card is held by ellone...one must get this card while on the lunar base; if not, one has to wait until disk 4 and get it from the card queen.

The Kiros, Irvine, Chubby Chocobo, Doomtrain and Phoenix cards can be obtained in the card queen's quest...one needs to do the cards in order however.
The first card to lose is the minimog card...one needs to lose the minimog card to the queen to obtain the kiros card from a man in deling city (he is dressed in dark clothing across the street from the junk shop in the shopping arcade).
The second card is the sacred card...to obtain the irvine card one needs to lose the sacred card to the queen...the irvine card can be won from flo, the wife of the mayor in FH.
If one is able to solve all the chocobo forest puzzles and obtain the chicobo card; to obtain the chubby chocobo card one must lose the chicobo card to the queen...the chubby chocobo card can be won from the student sitting on a bench outside of the library at balamb garden.
The next card one must lose to the queen is the alexander card...for that card you can win the doomtrain card from the pub owner in Timber (he is the one behind the counter on the right).
The next card that needs to be lost to the queen is the doomtrain card...for that you can win the phoenix card from the presidental assistant in blue located at the presidental palace in esthar.
Dont be too distraught about losing all 5 of those cards to get other ones...to win those cards back talk to the queen's son in dollet and win them back from him (the son is in the queen's father's art studio...the son is also the kid who keeps painting bones on all of his grandfather's art work.)

I hope this helps someone else cause I'm still trying to find out if one needs all 4 of the occult fan magazines in order to finish the pupu quest.
