Have any of you ever made "Sense and Sensibility's" Regency gown? I am in the process of making one with the help of my friend who's a whiz at sewing. I'm finding it harder than I thought it would be! I've ripped out soooo many seams!!! I hope to have it done by January, for it is a winter dress and I'd like to wear it this winter! Happy sewing to everyone who sews!!! LIC, Krista

No, I have never made a gown like that. I love to see them and know a couple people who do make them....beautifullly! I love the gowns in Anne of Green Gables (part 2). I think those are just beautiful! I just ordered a very Victorian dress off ebay...I'm so excited about it. Let us know how your dress turns out!!!
