Relaxing
Annabella stepped into the common room, and walked over to the couch and flopped onto it. She had just come from her last class of the day and was looking forward to relaxing. She noticed only a few others in the common room and gave them a wave before taking off her robe and shoes and sitting on the couch.
Reaching into her bag, she pulled out a book her mother had sent her and opened it up and began to read, smiling as she was finally able to relax and nothing could happened to disturb her relaxation time.
Eris Ackart entered the common room with her arms full. The fourth year was carrying several school books, and perched rather precariously atop them, was an open box of cream puffs.
"Watch it mate!" She called as a first year squeezed past her and out into the corridor. Not fully paying attention to where she was going, Eris stepped aside to allow the flow of traffic to pass her by when the toe of her trainer caught on the rug.
Dropping her books, Eris put her hands out to catch herself, but it was too late. Splat. Surrounded by scattered school books, she lay defeated on the floor, with her face planted square into the box of pastries.

Annabella turned a page in her book, and tried to block out the noise the first years were making. She could make out somebody telling them to watch out as they ran from the room.
A few moments later she heard, the sounds of books falling to the ground and the sound of a body hitting the ground as well. She looked up from her book, and saw a girl face down in what looked like a box of pastries, with books scattered around her. She put her book down and went over to her.
"Oh my, are you alright? Here let me help you." and she began to gather up the books that had been scattered, and summoned some tissues for the girl to wipe her face off. "My name is Annabella Valentine."

A muffled burst of laughter eminated from the cream puffs as Eris pulled herself to her knees and removed the box from her head. Face still covered in custard cream, Eris looked up to see a girl she didn't really recognize, and smiled.
"Yes, thank you, I'm alright." Eris reached into her robes and removed her wand, which survived the accident in one piece. "Scourgify." She said, pointing her wand towards the pastery explosion. Eris shivered slightly as the cream disapeared from her face and robes, and extended a newly cleaned hand to her Housemate. "Eris Ackart, it's a pleasure to meet you Annabella." The girl tucked her wand back into her robes and laughed again at the spectacle she had just made. It felt good to laugh.
"Sorry to be such a nuisance. I fear my best friends lack of natural grace is starting to rub off on me."

Annabella smiled as she heard laughter, come from the cream puffs. She watched as the girl stood up, and removed the box from her head. "Yes, thank you, I'm alright.". Annabella nodded and stood as well.
Watching as she pulled out her wand, and cast Scourgify to clean up both her and the mess on the floor. Annabella smiled and shook her hand after she had extended it, after she had cleaned up, and put her wand away.
"Well its nice to meet you as well Eris."
Eris had began laughing again at what happened, and gave a explanation. "Sorry to be such a nuisance. I fear my best friends lack of natural grace is starting to rub off on me."
Annabella waved her hand, and said "Nah don't worry about it, from what I heard you were plowed into, by some first years." and she smiled. Handing her back her books, she asked "So Eris, what year are you in? Im a fourth year myself."
