Requesting help for 2 epic mobs (update)
I am basically 2 fights away from getting my first epic sword, Swiftwind. I need to kill Venril Sathirs remains in Karnors and Jaeil the Insane in the Hole. Both of these mobs are not very hard. I believe we can kill them with 2 good groups of 50+, like what we had last night for all those fights except we would need a tank also.
The Jaeil fight is triggered so we can do it almost any time. VSR is harder to find up because he only pops after regular VS is killed and he is usually taken within a few hours by larger guilds. Basically we have to be lucky enough to have enough people on when we pops and move in fast to kill. After these 2 mobs are done, I will buy a MQ of the swirling sphere of color and then I'll have swiftwind.
I checked this afternoon and regular VS is up. So possibly tonight or tomorrow (Wed.) VSR will be pop.
Any help with this would greatly be appreciated. Hopefully we can have some EoA or Arisen peeps come also if needed.

Count me in whenever he's up. I know Aahz mentioned setting up a Hole raid for you and Shadowlin as well to get Jhaeil.
We'll just have to keep tabs on VSR in the meanwhile and be ready to go hopefully.

We can definitely do Jhaeil Trao, getting to him is harder than fighting him. If Shadowlin is ready for that turn in, we can get him twice.
I am generally unavailable on Tuesdays, sometimes I pop in for some XP, but in general, anything larger scale is out. Tomorrow TA is raiding Chardok and I have already committed to helping them. Thursday is the EoA 8th shawl. Not sure what EoA's status is. Bam should be able to tank VSR more than well enough. VSR drops 2 stones btw. I got mine when a druid killed him and I happened to be in the zone, they let me loot the second stone. Sometimes it pays to be lucky

I'll get with Aahz and see if he has any ideas for this since he has done them already. It would be awesome if can do it for Shadowlin too while we're there. Also, VSR drops 2 of the stones, so if there are any rangers or druids that need him, it would be a great chance to get theirs as well.

If we are going to venture that far into the hole, we should probably check to see what other epic drops come from there. Although to do the others, we will need more melee and healing power if I remember right, been a while since I ventured in that far. If people want to agree on a night to knock out a couple of these epic fights every week or 2, I am game. I would like to have a night or two a week available for xp though, and lately that seems to be far from happening
I nominate Odilin to organize it all Monks read pretty well, that's why they run all those libraries in the movies.

Uh! I was reading few post when i fell on urs guys. Uh meaby when the new expehension will come out, pep will be soo busy makin new frogies character. That meaby some camp that r usualy crowded will be empty!

I have the VSR part done. Just need Jaeil in the Hole now. I am working with Odilin atm about setting up a raid for this soon hopefully.

Hey Trao, could you Odi look into maybe going a little farther into the Hole? There's a guy in there that a little shaman I know wants to have have a chat with and then kill.

I looked up all the epic mobs we might encounter there and these are the mobs I know of :
Jaeil - Ranger
a Ratman Guard - Sahdow Knight
a mimic - Shadow Knight
Caradon/Kyrenna - Shadow Knight
Ghost of Glohnor - Shadow Knight
High Scale Kirn - Shaman
Nortlav the Scalekeeper - Warrior/Bard
Keeper of the Tomb - Paladin
Polzin Mrid - Enchanter
The Ghost of Kindle - Enchanter
Elemental Warriors - Magician
I'm not sure yet whether I'll restrict to 45+ or 50+ and how many total, but I'm thinking approx 18-24 since moving a large force might be difficult and dont wanna wipe the raid on adds. SO try to get up in levels if ya wanna go to make sure sure you qualify
Also most likely looking at using GCP loot and raid rules as a basis. I like Rad's rules on progress/participation, but since this is the first raid I've really put together, it doesn't really apply.
Any additional info anyone has on the Hole would be greatly appreciated.

Need help
Hello all! My name is Frobus, 51st level ranger. I also need Jaeil for my epic. I have been hanging out in the hole for about 10 days hoping to catch a raid down there. Although my guild is probably strong enough to do this part, they are still growing, and requesting raids that require this kind of force just for myself seems kind of selfish. I have everything I need for the turn-in. If you would let me tag along and do the fight, I would be in your debt. Heck, if you fill the raid out and don't feel like bringing me along, I could always make a corpse and drag it down to Jaeil, and someone could rez me when they get there. I always carry a thurg gate potion, so a way out for me wouldn't even be required. If you would allow me to do this I would be one happy ranger ! If it is not possible, or you simply don't feel like bringing me, then that is fine; it isn't going to hurt my feelings, heh. Hopefully our paths shall cross at some point.

Hey Lil,
Can we change this since Trao got his swifty? I'd like to keep it a pinned thread at the top, but would like a list of epic or quest mobs that people need help with that we can update regularly. Also change the title of the thread to something more appropriate as well.
I think TA does something similar and it would really help me plan out raids by knowing who needs what mobs.
If you want, make it so I can update it afetr people post to keep it clean and I'll maintain it
