Safely Home Dear Girls, I guess the flight went well. (except for the cardboard food they serve you!) It was long and hard though. We got to SEA (Seatle, Washington) just fine. When we got there we spent the night in a hotel. Everyone was so tired we were all glad to sleep and it seemed all too short. By 6am we were out the door down to eat breakfast, then by 6:30 on our way to catch the next flight. The flight was over booked though, so no way at all we were going to get on it. And the people who didn't get on that flight were rolled over to the next one. It didn't look good. All the flights out to Hawaii were booked for at least the next week. So my dad and mom thought up a new plan. We split up the family. My dad got on a Hawaiian airlines flight in the jumpseat. The rest of us waited around for the next 5 hours. It got hard then. Some of us even cried. It was way stressfull!! We got on the flight though and here we are safely 'home' in Michigan. I don't know when we are going to go back to Hawaii, if ever. This is a praise report in that the whole trip was safe and we didn't lose anything!!! I would like to be in my own bed (which is in Hawaii. I don't really know where 'home' is right now). I am happy to be in the Lords will though and will stay here as long as he wants us to.  So thats that! Oh ys my dad had to go back to hawaii because he had to work. Right now I think he is in Japan.

Thankyou for sharing with us; I'm glad to hear that your travels were safe, but sorry that you couldn't go home. That is so good that you are resting in the Lord's will. I hope you are all able to go home soon! Love in Christ, Atlanta |
