When Max (Jason Behr) learns that there might still be a shape-shifter living on Earth, he heads to Los Angeles to track it down, hoping it will provide some assistance in his efforts to contact his son. Max's quest to identify the alien leads him to Paramount Studios...and an encounter with Frakes and Billingsley. Also, Isabel balks at Jesse's suggestion that she inform her parents of their engagement; and Kyle learns more about his father's troubled relationship with his grandfather.
Wow - Grandpa Valenti is resurfacing after all of this time?

I really liked what I saw of it and I have to rewatch it..

KAREN... DID YOU SEE BA???? I can't tell you how proud I am of him.. what a game for him.. he was up against the best pitcher in the American League.. and look what he did... He was so good.. and I just can't get over him!!!! If the Dbacks didn't screw up 3 times in errors.. or if Gonzo played left field like he can... maybe BA could have gotten the Win... but none the less.. he did such a good job.. with only having 4 wins this year.. and Clemens has what 20 something.. says alot about BA!!!!!!
I have to go rewatch Roswell....

i really enjoyed this episode... you know something funny though? i was browsing through those download sites and saw last night's eppy available for viewing way before showtime... hmm... eh, whatever! i didn't watch it online though.
anyway, max was so cute driving through L.A. hey, would any of you happen to know where they filmed that little luncheon scene? it looked familiar, that's all.
i also enjoyed watching him audition for that part on "enterprise", he was so cute! the dude in the chair was like "uh, yeah RIGHT!"
it's getting weird...

I'll post some thoughts after I pass out candy tonight. Including my explanation of why Max was wearing that friggin stocking hat!
BTW - The skank kissing Max on the doorstep - why was that necessary??? I'm still trying to purge the memory from my mind...

Okay, passed out candy and rewatched the ep. Here's some thoughts:
* at Max leaving the door open at his audition and JFrakes telling him it was okay, he'd close the door!
* Well, Grandpa Valenti knows for sure there are aliens because he was obviously abducted by them and returned as a different actor ( Vicki, you were right - the last grandpa was John Cullum, I believe and that guy wasn't him)
* Were those cameras they handed out in journalism class from 1988? When was the last time anyone saw a camcorder that big?
* Poor Isabel. Seems that life revolves around Max in her house. I did feel for her mom, though, when she tearfully gave money to Iz in case Max needed it. My dad kicked out my older brother when I was 6 (he's 13 years older than me) and my mom used to go behind my dad's back and give him money.
* Michael and Maria - welcome to the Alex Whitman World of the Glorified Extra.
* So, can shape-shifters only take the form of creepy, middle-aged balding men? I have to admit this one is really creepy, creepier than Nasedo could ever hope to be. *shudder* Unlike Nasedo, he doesn't appear to give a crap that Max is a "king". No wonder the dupes turned out the way they did.
* The hat - looks like Max gets a major haircut next week. My theory was that they had to reshoot that scene and the haircut had already taken place...either that or his ears were sunburning in that convertible...
* Who really believes Max will die in that fire?
* I thought we got rid of the Valenti family dysfunction a year ago. It's back??? But I do have to admit that the hair stylist is doing some good things with Kyle's hair.
IMM - I felt so bad for BA. Deserved a win, poor guy. I hate NY. I hate Clemens. BTW - I emailed you a little BA tidbit I didn't feel should be broadcasted.
Ok. I was thinking.. OH I KNOW.. I KNOW.. NOT AGAIN...
Ok.. I am spoiler free now.. (just had to add that) And that is as of this second.. God knows what that mouse will do next...
Ok.. Mr. Bald Shapeshifter... He was in Roswell... when was that movie filmed again? So he didn't stay in NY. Nasado was nice to Max because he had a deal with Kivar... He had to make sure Tess got prego.. and then hand over the Royal 3...
Michael isn't Royal.. so why is he included.. (Tess is via Max) Michael and Iz were only engaged... So what if.. BIG IF.. this guy was their protector? Then figured he like life here... Nasado wasn't the guy in the desert in Sexual Healing.. (clue to that was what Tess said.. in one of the shows.. and Nasado was missing.. she said he has NEVER been away from her for that long.. and it was only a day) That guy in sexual healing.. killed Michaels foster father, and was there in the desert watching over Liz and Max... He seemed to comunicate with Liz... the beeping.. and being the Dr. with the whole Tapolski is nuts.. thing.. that was longer then a day... and Nasado would have said something to them about being there before.. hmmm I know could be way off track.. but I just find it weird that he spent that much time in Roswell... to produce a film there... and to leave the Dupes in the scums of NYC...
Ok.. enough on that.. it will drive me nuts now.. like I am not already!! sorry for any spelling problems.. but my brian is fried from school...
