Seeds of Darkness
Samuel looked out at the darkened sun. It was different here than anywhere else. The digital world had that effect. He looked around a moment, then, smiling, put a hand on his partner's digi-egg.
"Only a few more days..." he mumbled, "Only a few more days."

A bit away, perhaps it seemed like miles yet it wasn't all that far from the center of the Shadowlands, a young boy walked through the dust, dirt swirling around him as it blew his tannish colored hair around.
"My plans are slowly forming..." He whispered to the darkness. The clouds above shifted, as if to reply. He tilted his head upwards towards the dull rays of sunlight that were trying to stream through the thick clouds.
Everything around him was dark. It gave him a sense of worthiness, to be around those who spoke and felt of his own. To him, the darkness was his only friend. He could listen to it .. it could tell him things no being could say.
"Um, are you listening to the voices in yer head again?" Asked a voice. The dust cleared from a bit behind the boy, revealing a strange looking creature. It resembled a mushroom, yet it walked on two legs and had arms.
The boy smirked. "No. I have told you before - I am not crazy." He lifted his hand, pulling a glove off of it. Dried blood was caked to the sides of his fingers, where he had last held his sword.
His hand touched the hilt, the cold steel giving him a feeling of power. Mushroomon watched him, a slight smirk on his face. Yet, something else shown - he had one eyebrow arched.
"Cam, you're really freaking me out again," He said, stepping forward towards the boy. The boy seemed to linger in time for a moment, then whipped around, the sword in his hand. The blade was pointed right at Mushroomon.
"I believe I told you not to call me that," He said, the blade stead and not moving. Mushroomon backed off, hands in front of himself.
"Okay, okay. Whatever."
The boy flipped the sword, hoping to catch it by the hilt in his hand yet again. The sword clanged to the ground, resounding around loudly. He flinched slightly, bending low to pick it up.
"Yah gotta still practice on that move there." Mushroomon said. The boy simply didn't answer. His blue eyes were empty as he placed the sword back into its hollister. He simply began walking off, waiting for the darkness to speak its directions to him.

Sam saw the boy and his partner. He sighed.
"Diablomon... if we were told to dispose of human threats... how am I to make friends?" he asked. Diablomon growled angrily.
"... Huh... didn't think so..."

The Executer looked around, thinking he had heard voices. However, because of the fact he believed the darkness talked to him, he disregarded the thought of any other lifeform out there.
"Yah hear that?" Mushroomon asked, looking around. "I couldah sworn I heard something."
"Don't be foolish," The Executer said. "There is no one in this desolated plain of darkness and deciet except for us." Mushroomon frowned, but he didn't dare say anything else. He just couldn't shake the feeling there were others nearby.

Wyatt was making his way through, trying to find out.
"This is great Kokomon. Thanks for recomending me," he said sardonically. Kokomon blinked.
"Well, in reality, it's the fastest way to get home. Don't blame me... would you like the equations?"
"No. Don't give me the equations... I did them already... remember? Like... five times over..."
He noticed a boy... with a sword... that was bad, right?
"KID WITH A SWORD!" Kokomon shouted loudly. Sam looked up, raising an eyebrow.
"Let's go Diablomon... shut the kid up..."

The Executer whipped around, narrowing his ashen eyes. He could make out a form, after hearing the voice of some critter yelling. His hand went to his sword's hilt.
"Calm down," Mushroomon said, gazing over the distance. He spotted another two forms moving in the direction of the ones that had shouted. "It looks like some sort of battle is gonnah happen!"
"Well, good," The Executer said, a smile starting to form on his lips. His right hand still on the hilt, he began to walk towards the beings that had made such an audible noise. Mushroomon sighed and followed, figuring he couldn't do anything about it.

"Great, now we have to run for our lives!" Wyatt grumbled.
"WE? Who said anything about we? I climb on your head and YOU run for OUR lives."
"... I'm leaving you here."
"I'M RUNNING! I'M RUNNING!"
Wyatt turned away from the Executer, but ran into Sam.
"Kid... shut up," he said angrily. Wyatt stared at him.
"He he... would you like to hear the story of the one that got away?" he asked. Sam growled.
"I've heard that one. Shut up..."

"Here's an idea, how about everyone shuts up," a new voice said and out from the shadows stepped a fourteen year old girl with dark hair and eyes. Her eyes glittered like a wildcat who has found it's prey though and there was no mirth in them.
Beside her walked a bird like digimon but one who could hardly be recognized as a bird now. She, for it was a she, was pale as a ghost and may in fact have actually been one. Some of her feathers were a rotten green as if something was decaying and she was far from pretty.
"I'm Laura and this is BansheeBiyomon. You're going to be quiet as soon as you tell me who you are and what you're doing here," the girl said confidently. Secretly she feared they might be actual digidestined children for good who had accidently ended up here although she doubted that had happened.
OOC: Do you know if Wrath is still playing here? I haven't seen him around in awhile so I'm just wondering, no worries whether he is or not but I don't want to move very far ahead only to have him come back later and be extremely angry.

"Whatever," Laura said simply, rolling her eyes. "I don't think there's anything for us here, just a couple of losers," she said, emphasizing the losers part of it.
Laura crossed her arms across her chest and looked over to the other person there with a look of mock boredom. "Who are you?" she asked in a dull tone.

"Whatever," Laura replied for the second time and she rolled her eyes before turning to walk away. "This is just boring and if you are going to sit around in these wastelands doing nothing that's fine but I plan on getting out of here," she said and took a step in the opposite direction.
As the digidestined of hatred Laura wasn't keen on being around others, she couldn't tolerate them, let along be friendly. Sam didn't seem as bad as this other one, Wyatt had he said he was but still she wasn't big on company.

"Okay," Sam said, "I gotta go kill someone, so... yeah..."
As the Holder of the Death crest, he was similar to Laura, not wanting to be around anyone, but he hunted people in the sense that it was his craving, his nature.
Wyatt stared a moment.
"I want my Daddy," he said, picking up his partner and walking off.

(O_o I'm just lazy. Ahhh you called me a boy! o.o actually, allot of people make that mistake.)
"I believe under the situations, you are quite not the person to be expecting orders," The Executor said calmly, stepping up towards the group. "I am in no way implying that I would be, however, in this world those who draw their breath impervious to other's respect shall draw their last breath in pain."

Sam sighed.
"That's confusing..." he mumbled. Diablomon was next to him, walking as any humanoid digimon would do. Wyatt was inching far, FAR away from each and every one of them.

(OOC: Sorry about that! I know it's terrible, I had it happen several times My other username has the word "Lady" in it partially for that reason. No problem with laziness, I'm lazy alot too, and the world's greatest procrastinator )
Laura raised one eyebrow at the executer in a look of contempt, amusement and grudging respect all mixed into one look. Her attempt to smile came out in a grimace as she turned to face him, digimon partner-or was it slave?-at her side.
"You sure sound like you think you're in charge. Prove it, who are you and why do you think you're better than I am?" Laura asked, voice haughty and filled with scorn as she responded.

"Hmm," The Executor said, a small smirk beginning to spread across his face. It was inconspicious, though, almost more like a sly expression if anything. He spoke directly to Laura.
"Do you percieve my intelligent speech as a implimation I plan to evoke my power as a leader? You surely don't believe all denizens of darkness have the vocabulary of a young child, now do you?"
His bright eyes flashed, but they were devoid of anything that could even resemble a lighter side to human emotion.
"Also. You have inquired to what my identity is... that would be The Executor. If you refuse to comply with this simple request, which I doubt you will under the circumstances, I must 'prove' as you state -- the fact why was bestowed this name."
