Sewing Machines What brand/model is your sewing machine? Mine is a Riccar/1570. It has all the basic stiches plus a few. It does just fine. I would really like to get one of those fancy embroidery machines. Ah a sewers dream... Ok I am back. :P Do any of you have one? Know of someone who does? What the brand/model? Do they like it well? Ok I'll end this post now. ![]() Danielle Elizabeth Daughter to John and Jacqueline Big Sister to: Mark(13) Samantha(8 ) Lisa(6) Ruth(4) & Jack (2) Website |

Re: Sewing Machines
Hi Danielle,
I don’t have an embroidery machine, but my sewing machine is the Janome memory craft 4800, which is just below the Janome embroidery machine, I believe. Those are definitely a sewers dream!!! My machine is great though, having over 90 decorative stitches that can be combined different ways, as well as text. I don’t use it all as it is, so I can’t imagine what I would do with an embroidery machine! It would be fun though! One thing I found was that not having that capability sometimes makes your creative juices come out more! I made a bib with a teddy bear, and I was wishing I could just embroider one on real quick, but I had to appliqué one and it turned out much nicer, I think!
