Sheer and utter boredom
Eris sauntered along an empty corridor. Though it was too early in th morning she could already feel the beginnings of a drastic mood swing. She was bored, and when she was bored she was irritable, and horribly so.
What she needed, she mused idly, was none other than her brother, Ares. She looked blankly at the path before her half expecting him to show up. He was nowhere to be found. Eris cursed under her breath. He was probably calling to the summons of their bastard of a father, that or - she shuddered to think about it, flirting with Aphrodite. She cursed again.
Despite herself, Eris eyed the path before her, as though daring it to produce some sort of spectacle to amuse her. Realizing that a patch of pink had slightly obscured her vision, Eris grabbed at it (it turned out to be one of the many a flowers which served as decorations) and tore it up .
