Sitting by the Fire (open) Meggie plopped down on a couch, exhausted from that day. She let the warmth of the firewood sooth her to sleep. Quite a few minutes past before she woke up again. She stretched, slightly embarrassed that she fell asleep on the couch. Hope I didn't snore. She glanced around to see who would have heard if she did. She shook her head. If they heard, oh well. Meggie glanced out the window thinking...  |
