Someone Kill Me
Well, alright...I'm not sure if you would really consider this a real encounter, but for the last month, I've been have reacurring nightmares involving the same creature. A creature, dressed in a black robe, making it impossible to tell if it is of our species, of a certain gender or race. It always had a smire on its face, even if I can't see it, I know it's there. It was watching my dreams for the last month and just recently affected them. It started by showing an image of myself dead, as it stood behind me with a scythe. Then I came into a dream where I thought I was walking into my house, only to find that it had killed my entire family by decapitation, with the exception of my older brother, Alex. He was dead, but was still whole. Then I found myself in a dream where I tried to pretect two of my two friends from the creature, but it only cast me aside and killed them. After those dreams, it went back to just watching me, except for one dream where it pulled me into a room so that I could view my dead family and friends, but I didn't react in anyway. I felt empty, not emotional in the least and as he swung his scythe down at me I didn't flinch at all, but woke up. My brother believes that this creature may be a psychic vampire or even possible, as suggested by his friend, a reaper. In either case, I'm not too pleased. That is all, I grow tired and I feel ill. I must be off...peace to all as you head to your graves.
I stare up at the moon lit sky,
only able to ask why.
Why am I so bitter cold?
Why does my age lie,
and why do I feel so old?
Why is my soul so miserable dark?
Where in this life will I leave my mark?
I recieve no answer
so I give up the fight.
I'll ask again
tomorrow night.
