A period of new growth is the perfect time for a bank, so long as it has a good amount of starting capital (which I hope to get from a 0% interest government loan, hint hint). We can then invest in new businesses, either by buying shares or giving them loans. Profits from investments will go towards funding interest in savings accounts, which will in turn attract more capital in the form of savings accounts to be used on more investment.
