Sunsets
In the afternoon sun, two figures could be seen walking along the shoreline of the beach. The first was a human girl. She looked like she was in her early teens, wearing a black tube blouse and oversized elephant jeans. Her dark brown hair was hidden beneath her navy blue flat-topped hat and normal flat sandals replaced her usual thick and heavy sandal-shoes. The second figure was a Digimon, a Tsunomon to be precise. The orange, horned, head-like Digimon bobbed in the sand beside her.
After walking for a distance, the two settled down on a slope from the shore and watched the afternoon sun set across the calming waves of the great ocean, casting the sky in various colors of orange, yellow and red.
“It’s so beautiful,” the Tsunomon murmured to the girl.
“Yeah. I wish we could enjoy this more often…” They remained quiet for a while before the girl spoke again. “Where should we be going, Fang?”
“I’m not really sure, Reyna,” he answered. “If we we’re summoned here, then someone should come to us eventually--”
“--Or we’ll come to it.” Reyna finished for him. “Well, it’s a good thing I loaded up. I knew we might have to do some traveling…that’s why I have so much stuff. We’ll camp here tonight and by daybreak, we’ll journey off to find whatever’s going on here.”
Fang only replied with a nod and they continued to stare off into the sunset.
