Suspicious Ways (rating - R : Graphic Sex)
Shapes in the distance enveloped the sunlight and splayed sooty fingers over the valley. The sky darkened as far-away lightening crackled. A mist of rain fell in the distance, like an inky blanket covering the valley as the storm unfurled. The late summer thunderstorm was gathering its dark forces over the edge of the usually sunny dale.
Carelessly through the valley under the storm - over hillock and through the meadows - a once well-traveled roadway wound, up the Mountains of Mirkwood. A few yards from both sides of this passage ran two short walls of moss-covered stacked rock, crumbling and in disarray. On the road, patches of green grass pushed through cracked stones and worn gravel to welcome the spell of rain.
Years had passed since men had walked the stones of that ancient road. Greater and nobler men than now had laid it - stone by stone in long lost times. It was once a proud way traveled by Elves, Dwarves, even Men, during the Lem-Noran, the Days of Light, in the years that followed the destruction of the One Ring and the ruin of the foul servant of Morgoth.
The High King of Nùmenor, his great-grandsons now long passed and his dictates near forgotten, had once graced its seamless cobbleways. The roadway now lay lonely through the lush valley, a silent reminder of a grander age of grander men.
And now its course was quiet. Rarely did any save bird or beast walk upon it. But today, as greyness swallowed the sun’s warmth, a lone figure trudged over its stones.
She walked southward on the road. She was garbed in a dark green cloak, stained and tattered in places, and her hair was a brownish black; dark and rich with curls that hung about her face wildly. She held a long bow in her left hand, and a quiver of arrows hung across her back. She wore black riding boots to her knees, and worn breeches. A long knife was strapped to her leg. As she walked, three times she stopped in mid-step, crouched to the ground, and peered this way and that, surveying the road.
Something was off. Different. She felt as though another presence was near--yet could see or hear no one. The Mirkwoos Mountains were seldom travelled on by any. The cloak of her hood was up as the rain came down--causing her clothing to dampen and cling.

Re: Suspicious Ways
Cape on; hood up. Legolas Greenleaf walked the treacherous paths of the Mirkwood Mountains. He mubbled under his breath. 'Why did father send ME to get her...why couldn't her FATHER bring her back...' He rambled on until his blue eyes saw another presence. That must be her..oh joy.., he thought. His boot clad feet made little noise as he walked over the snow. Elves were light, and came from the earth. They could communicate with nature. They were also known for walking on snow. His feet made hardly any foot prints, leaving it hard to track him.
He walked out of the mountain pass and onto the road. He smiled triumphantly, yet kicking himself mentally for having to actually GET her. With light and speed he ran up to her and grabbed her arm firmly. A quiver of Mirkwood fill with arrows were upon his back. Accompanying this were his two whote elven long knives, and a dark longbow of Mirkwood. His attire of teh Silvan folk blended him well in teh surrounding elements of the woods.
"Stop!" He said firmly. "I was sent to bring you back to your father. Come with me now and I won't have to do things the difficult way." He warned her sternly. His face and expression serious. Deadly. Absolute hostility.

Re: Suspicious Ways
Anorista turned around quickly to see an Elf. Blond hair, blue eyes, stern and uptight face....typical high elf. Or something like it.
She looked to her arm which he held and jerked it away. There is nothing but a difficult way. I go where I want when I want....
Her tone dripped with threat. The snow and rain had mixed together now, causing freezing rain, Giving the he-elf one final glare, she turned and continued to descend the road. She did not need to take orders from some Mirkwood Elf. Especially not one who was all looks. All face and no soul....that was the common thread among these Elves. She had bigger things to worry about--and did not need to be questioned by her father.

He growled. He was NOT going to be put down by this...she-elf. "Fine then. Have it your way." He followed behind her and grabbed her arm again. As she protested he began to drag her back towards Mirkwood. "I am under orders, and I DON'T want a lecutre from my father. Now let's go." He jerked her forward and headed back towards her home.

Re: Suspicious Ways
As he forcefully began to drag her back--Anorista found her patients at it's end. Swiftly, she swung her foot around, delivering a sound kick into his manhood. The Elf yelled in pain and crumpled to the ground, letting out a string of Elvish curse.
She adjusted her pack, and looked down to him as he bent over on the ground which was slippery from frozen rain. Adjusting her hood, she turned and began to walk again. Don't toy with me, Elf, I'm not in the mood! She called back with annoyance in her tone.

He glared up to her. Great...I'm getting kicked for what?! WHY did my father make ME do this, he thought. "That's it....now you made me angry..." He said in a low and deadly tone. He stood, as the pain in his groin stopped throbbing and grabbed her around the waist. Slinging her over his shoulder, His grip Firm. He was mad. He was VERY mad to be more precise.

Re: Suspicious Ways
Anorista kicked her legs and pounded her fists against his back. At one point, her foot came in contact with his groin again--but the he-elf did not drop her. She only felt him wince and grumble something. She knew what she was doing what hurting him, but this Elf refused to let her go.
Put me down! She yelled. The elf did not respond. It was then, her eye was caught by the knives on his back. She pulled one out and pressed it against his side. The he-elf stopped; feeling the knife.
Release me... She said calmly, yet angrily. Slowly, he put her down, yet she kept the knife pointed at him.

He narrowed his eyes at her. "You will drop my knife, NOW." She did not. This made him angrier. In one quick movement, and with hands that move quicker than sight, He smacked her hands, causing his knife to fly out of her hands. Backing away he caught and pointed it at her now. "I'm warining you...I intend to take out my duty." He said coldly.

Re: Suspicious Ways
Anorista stared at him angrily. This elf was not going to give up so easily. Quickly, she grasped his wrist, inabling him movement to use the dagger. They struggled for dominance, and finally she managed to press him against the mountain wall which was covered in moss--yet it did not lessen the impact.
The dagger was between them down, pointed upwards, as both tried to get a tighter grip on it--while staring each other down.

Determination was in both their eyes. Fighting for the upper hand. Then, after time a sly grin came to his face. With grace and quick movements he wrapped his leg around hers and tripped her. SHe fell back onto the hard ground. Smiling triumphantly he straddled her and held the dagger to her neck. "This ends NOW" He said demandingly. "I'm sick of your games."

Re: Suspicious Ways
Anorista was about to struggle, yet stopped before doing so. The dagger to her neck was pressed hard, and his legs held her body in a firm position, allowing little movement.
Slowly, she reached her hands up, and pulled open a few buttons at the top of her shirt--allowing bare skin to show; just above her chest and below her neck.
Then do it. She said in an emotionless tone. End it.
Anorista waited for him to plunge the blade in.

He shook his head. "I was sent to bring you BACK to your father and mother..not kill you" And he roughly pulled her up and put his knife away. He lifted her in his arms and began, once more, towards her home.

Re: Suspicious Ways
Anorista gave up as the Elf swung her over his shoulder and began to scale down the mountain's road. She knew this was a bad idea....coming so close to Mirkwood. Her father's stern nature is a big reason why she left. Though not the only reason.
As they reached the bottom of the mountain, the he-elf grabbed her firmly by the arm and let her walk. They passed under the trees and through the many groves of Mirkwood in silence. Both were upset and in no mood for these kinds of games.
Finally, they reached the central city. Her old home. Anorista had not been here for ages. She'd been too busy travelling the lands, getting in trouble, fighting and stealing. All of which were uncommon hobbies for Elves.
As she looked up from her thoughts, she noticed they had reached the home of her father. Her childhood dwelling. As they entered, she saw her father, Lord Garîn, and King Thranduil. Both elder Elves had been friends for many years.
Thank you Legolas. Thranduil said giving a small nod to the he-elf who held her arm.
Anorista looked to him and jerked her arm away. Legolas?...So this is how the son of Thranduil spends his time? Her voice was sarcastic. She should have known Legolas would grow up to be something like this. Uptight and rude. She remembered him now. He was oft alone when they were children--seeming shy, and giving a hint of "upper class" towards the rest of the children. Of course, she was oft alone as well, but not because of a snobby nature. She had nothing in common with the Elves here.
Anorista looked to her father.

Legolas shot a cold glare in her way. "My lady...you know not what I do in my time-"
"Legolas...hush!" Thranduil warned sternly.
Legolas sighed and walked over, half dragging Anorista to her father. "I returned her home to the sir..." He said in a distant voice.
"Thank you Legolas...we are greatful to you.." Anorista's father smiled as Legolas let go of his daughter and bowed.
"Of course my lord..." Legolas said. When he looked to Anorista again he was glaring daggers. He tried just about everything to get her here...but finally, after extreme measures he got her here.

Re: Suspicious Ways
Anorista stared at Legolas harshly, then turned to her father. If you wish to speak with me, you should send word.....not some Elven Prince with a quick temper. Her eyes glanced at Legolas for a moment, then back to her father.
Anorista. Garîn said sternly. I've recieved word that you've been getting yourself into quite a bit of trouble. Thievery...misconduct...violence...resisting authoritive orders. You've gotten quite a reputation. I know your desire to be an Elven Ranger drove you from your home--and I don't care. We each have a calling. But I refuse to allow such a calling to drag my name down with you.
His tone was harsh and edged in discipline. Father, this is a family matter. Could we not talk in, private? Without the company of the king and his ill-tempered son?

Legolas glared hotly at her. "You don't know Ill-tempered my lady. You haven't the slightest. What you saw was utter annoyance towards your childish ways."
"Legolas! Hush!" Thranduil warned. "Legolas, I told you to hold your tongue..now DO IT."
Legolas sneered at her and stood by his father.
"Anorista.." the king began. "We did not what to drag an army after you, so I sent my son. I could trust he would bring you back safely. He is not just a prince, but a warrior as well." Thranduil said. His tone not at all pleased.

Anorista let out a small laugh and shook her head. Yes, m'lord. She tried desperately to hold in her smile and looked back to her father.
Permission to take leave, father. She asked, dully.
He paused. Permission granted. Thranduil and I need to speak.
Anorista nodded and began to walk by her father, but his hand on her shoulder stopped her. Mirkwood soldiers are positioned throughout the woods. Should they see you trying to leave....they will caputre you, and bring you back by any means necessary.
Her eyes drifted to the floor for a moment, and she gave a small nod before she brushed by him, heading outside.

Thranduil dismissed his son and he and Anorista's father spoke privately. Legolas on the other hand watched her walk off. A sly grin graced his fair elven face and he followed her. He gripped her shoulder ANd stopped her. "Look, I know you think I'm a spoiled brat prince who is so stuck up that it is stomach turning, but that is NOT true. Nothing can be farther from the truth. I was FORCED to find you." And with that he walked down the stairs and headed off towards the woods.

Re: Suspicious Ways
Anorista watched him storm off towards the woods with a surprised and humored smile. She jogged after him.
Quit being so melo-dramatic! She laughed. You show great skill for a Mirkwood prince, I do not doubt it. But you father called you a warrior....
She moved in front of him. What kind of game did you have to play to make him believe that?
Anorista realized what she was saying was quite rude, and probably angering the prince, but she did not stop. She hadn't spoken to many people over the years, and now----she felt like being a brat to this Elf Prince. He needed to relax.

He whiped around and glared at her. A sly smirk returned to his face, but his eyes were still hot with anger. "Ever hear of the Weaponary Tornument? I won every one of them for 4 years. But then again...oh wait..not you haven't, you probally were stealing the prizes and cheating."He said hotly. He flashed a quick smile and continued his way through the woods.

Anorista laughed as the Elf stormed off again. Well, there's a fire in you yet.... She called to him, still laughing.
Coming up behind him quickly, she wrapped her arm around his neck, while pulling his other arm behind his back in a solid hold. Legolas struggled, and was surprised by her sudden attack.
Come on, my fair princeling. She said laughing. Prove yourself a great warrior.... She pulled on his arm slightly, causing it to bend awkwardly.
