T3/T4 turbo kit on D16A6 motor
hi, I have a 1993 Civic hatch with D16A6 motor. I have just bought the Drag gen 3 turbo kit with T3/T4 turbo (.63 exh A/R). I have done the following modifications to my D16A6 motor (1.6 L non Vtec 16V):
- 8.5:1 low compression wiseco forged pistons
- eagle connecting rods
- block guard
- ported & polished head
- 460cc injectors
- Unichip fuel & ignition computer
- bigger fuel pump
- vortech fuel pressure regulator
Everything else is stock.
I plan to run 15-18 psi boost on this motor. Is this too much? If it is, can you pls tell me what will be the maximum safe boost for this motor considering all the changes I have done to it? Also Has any body got the same turbo kit as me in the same engine? What is the best qtr mile time? Is mid 12 secs possible? Do you need LSD or slick to launch the car? Thanks guys
