Tailoring
Okay, I've finally got my skill to 153 and now I'm at the dreaded wall. Acrylia armor seems to be the only next step, but I have to ask here, am I missing something that would be a TAD easier? Trying to find all those small pieces of acrylia is bad enough, but having to have superb rockhopper hides on top of it? Puhlease!
to get ore got to TM there are 2 grimling caves there just a little way to the left from zone in from grimling forest to farm ore in a few hrs there you can get a few bags of ore and also a lot of odd moon gems that sell well after about 2 hrs of farming i can sell and get about 1k or so to get hopper hides the best place I have found is the hopper cave in DSP .I would say that about 90% of the hides that drop are good to use in one way or another you get LQ MQ HQ hopper hides I make the LQ and MQ in leather padding that I can sell for 400pp a stack and with the HQ hides I make the 10 slot 10% reduction back packs I sell them cheap 50pp each because you will get a lot of them some times I even cut the HQ hides down to LQ to use for leather padding I don't know what your level is but most of the hoppers in the cave stay DB till 55 and if you are sloling its not bad exp I went hunting there at 57 the other night for about 3 hrs most of the hoppers are lb at 57 so i put the exp into AA I got 4 blue of AA exp 1 stack of LQ 1 stack MQ 2 stacks of HQ and about 15 superb and 15 excellent hoppers hides
hope this helps some
Oh and some times lvl 65 come there to look for a lucid shard and some times they are not interested in the hides.so one night i just followed a lvl 65 monk thro the caves and looted the hides was easy work for a few hrs

Re: Tailoring
ok I found a recipes that will get you to 162 called
folded bearskin potion bag the bags are lore so you can only have one on you at a time I have seen them sell for 100 to 400pp in the bazaar the gold ribbon is the key im sure it sell for a lot and the gold ribbon is no drop and can be found on a vendor in the lighthouse in the new LoY zone I will get a price check on the ribbon as soon as I can to find the thick grizzly bear skins they seem to drop fairly common in WC
to make silk cord you need spiderling silk
2 spiderling silk make silk string
3 silk string make silk cord
with the coming of the new frogie town they made a newbie area in the swamp and there is a new mob there called a crab spiderling they drop up to 3 silks and there are hundreds of the crab spiderlings and they respawn fast its a good place to farm silks
everfrost is a good place also to farm spiderling silks
Re: Tailoring
Ok I did a price check on the gold ribbon it sells for 37pp I did the PC with my druid which only has chr of 80 so I'm guessing if you had your chr up over 140 150 the price might come down to about 25pp or so. Also the ribbon does not stack.

Thanks for the replies guys. I might have to try the bearskin potion bag for a bit.
I've been farming the grimling caves in TM for about a week now. (probably 8-10 hours total) and have gotten a lot of bricks to sell, but less than a stack of small pieces of acrylia. I thought I'd take a break from those and try hoppers in DSP a couple nights ago, but the cave was camped... so... lol. I'm assuming I'm going to run into a problem of cave camping a lot.
Guess I'll just have to resign myself to the fact that from this point on, it's going to take awhile.
Re: Tailoring
get a smithing chisle and cut those blocks and large bricks down into small pices of ore and at the hopper cave there are 5 iner caves the front of the cave is always camped but the back caves never are if you want I can take you in and show you a nice place to set up to hunt. I always got to the back cave and hunt, most of the time I am there by my self and no one bothers me.
with a chisle you can cut a block down to a large brick then a large brick into a small brick then a small brick into 2 small pices of ore

DOH!! I never knew you could cut the bricks down! lol. Thank you Alzaar! Of course, I'm not gonna complain too much, I made some decent money off the ones I sold.
If I ever see you on, I'll find you about the hopper caves. I'm definately interested to know that camp spot.
