Greetings to you! I was wondering if there are any other ladies out there who enjoy tea! My family and I absolutely love hot tea, cold tea, well...we like all types of tea (Decaf that is Here are some of mine. If you could only see our tea cabinet. I like... Lemon Twist (Perfect to wake up with! This is made by Frontier Co-op. It's a bulk, loose tea. Celestial Seasonings makes a tea similar to this. Their version is called Lemon Zinger.) Tummy Mint (If you've got an upset tummy this will calm it down quick. Made by Celestial Seasonings.) Gypsy Cold Care (Self explanatory. I drink a lot of this when I have a cold. I even put a little cayenne pepper in my tea! Cranberry Cove (This tea is actually a red color. It is made by Celestial Seasonings. It's kind of a tart, cranberry, spice tea.) Cinnamon (This tea is made by Bigelow. It's really good for breakfast, especially if you're having maple syrup on pancakes! The cinnamon helps balance the sugar levels in the blood!)Eldeberry (We buy this as dried berries from Frontier Co-op. My mom posted more on the benefits of Eldeberries in the Thyme Began in a Garden forum. This herb is a real blessing from the Lord!) Well...there are a few of my favorites! I can't wait to read yours! We enjoy serving our guests tea when they come. It seems to really make a lot of memories for them, since this is a lost art, so to speak. Mrs. Tam...are you out there? Tell us about your tea breaks!! Love & Blessings in Messiah, Emilee Elizabeth He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth... Emilee,
I like to drink herb tea, too! I usually drink it more when I'm sick, but I make myself a cup every now and then during the colder months.Sometimes I make a little teapot full, get out a pretty teacup (I enjoy collecting teacups, by the way!), put a lace tablecloth on a small stand, light a candle, put on some soft music and have a little tea party/devotions time! Nothing better than a tea for two with Jesus! Here are a few of my favorite teas. All of them are Celestial Seasonings. Cranberry Cove Strawberry Kiwi (more of a light flavor than the others) Wild Cherry Blackberry Raspberry Zinger Country Peach Passion (this also has more of a light flavor) I like trying different fruit ones as well. A tea that I like to use on special occasions is from Hannah's Delights (I like the name, too!).It is a loose blend of hibiscus, rose hips, lemon grass, peppermint, orange peel and wild cherry bark. It brews a pretty pink color. For colds I like a sampler from Traditional Medicinals that has Gypsy Cold Care, Echinacea Plus, Throat Coat, and Breath Easy. Guess that's more than enough!! ~Hannah

I love tea! Although I must admitt, I like the caffinated type alot! I love English Breakfast tea. (which I have for breakfast, go figure!) And Earl Gray. I'm not much of a herbal tea person, but I'm trying different ones. I really like mint. So I'm enjoing that. Caffine is really bad for your health, so I'm trying to stay away from it! God Bless, Blooming in His Care or Jenny |

Hi everyone, Our "tea time" may be a little different than everyone else's, but oh do we enjoy it! We don't have "tea time" everyday, as time doesn't always permit, but when we do, we have a grand time! We don't use my finest china......but we do use my daughters finest (her plastic tea set! ha!). Blessings to you and your family as you enjoy your "tea time", Mrs Tam |

You know what is extremely fun? Mother and daughter teas!! Our church used to have a group for young women called Daughters of The King. I won't go into why it was discontinued Anyway, one of the things our teacher, Mrs. Yancey, taught us, was how to properly serve tea. It was fun. I love herbal teas. The best way to drink them is while reading a good book Blessings, Deb ![]() "Lord, make me an instrument of Thy peace: Where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy. O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console; to be understood, as to understand; to be loved, as to love. For it is in giving we receive; It is in pardoning that we are pardoned; it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life." --St. Francis of Assisi |

Hi! I love tea! I can't seem to like the herbal teas(which is a shame, our tea cabinet is chock-full of 'em). I prefer Salada and Tetley teas. I use tea to heal a fight with my sister. I draw up a really fancy invitation, have one of little brothers deliver it and set up. We don't discuss the fight, but everything else under the sun. |
