Tense Negotiations (O-Ren!)
A set of four slim fingers tapped gently on the black leather, twisted neatly around the steering wheel of a slightly beaten-up 1987 Buick Regal Turbo. Beaten up… but it was still fast and inconspicuous enough to get these two women exactly where they wanted to go. The same, slim hand rose from the steering wheel to brush away a lock of blonde hair from a pair of large, blue eyes.
The hand paused.
A small smile curved the lips of the woman who sat behind this steering wheel as she listened to the song that had just begun on the radio. Reaching down, she fiddled with the volume, turning the music up.

Beatrix glanced up at the door to the motel now, frowning a little. She had told O-Ren that she’d wait out here in the car while she got ready… that had been almost two hours ago. Although Bea was no better herself, she was beginning to get a little worried. They had a job to do, some connections to make, and a drug lord to befriend.
Sighing, Bea leaned back in her seat, reaching over for the document that lay upon the passenger’s seat. This document contained everything Bill knew about their intended target: Fidel Ramirez. Apparently he had quite a reputation here in Texas, heading up a notorious drug racket in the seedier parts of the state. It was the job of ‘Miss O’ and ‘Miss B’ to take on the roles of lawyers and strike a deal with him. After all… Bill could certainly do with the expertise of someone like him in this business. And if he refused…?
Bea peered through the rear-view mirror, catching sight of her holstered 9mm, resting peacefully upon the back seat. She smiled. He wouldn’t refuse. It would take some work though. Days of spying his movements, hours of finding out who exactly he was connected with, before the two assassins moved in themselves. A motel room was already booked on the outskirts of Texas.
Now all Bea needed to wait for was O-Ren…
Could you do what you did? Of course you could.
But I never thought you could- or would- do that to me.
