"Curse it, Glorfindel! I can't even fit through the door anymore!" complained Elenna as she ran a hand over her massively swollen belly.
"What am I supposed to do? Widen the door?" Glorfindal asked. At that moment he knew he had said the wrong thing, as Elenna picked up a vase and threw it at his head. He ducked and it shattered against the wall.
"You aren't helping!" she shouted. "Go and get one of Tiri's headache remedies for me!"
Glorfindel hurried down the hall to Tiri's herbalist cabinet. He pulled the bottle off the shelf and started out the door.
"Elenna has a headache again?" Tiri asked, coming out of her bedroom.
"Yes," said Glorfindel. "And she's throwing things! Why do women get so strange when they are pregnant?"
"Don't blame her," Tiri said. "This is half your fault too."
She laughed at the elflord's obvious discomfort and, taking the bottle, went to give it to Elenna herself.
Tiri shook her head as she passed the blushing elf, and made her way to Elenna's bedroom.
Elenna heard the footsteps and readied herself with another vase, "I swear Blondie, if you don't have that remedy, your head is mine!"
"A bit angry, are we?" Tiri said as she handed the bottle to the pregnent woman.
Elenna pulled the stopper from the crystal flask and drank the potion in one swift draft.
"Well, you try being the size of an oliphaunt with a really, really dumb husband and an orc-axe pounding on your skull. You'd kill everyone in sight!"
"He isn't really dumb. He's just a little confused, but give the man a brake, he's good to you," Tiri sat on the bed, "But no, I would burn everything in sight, you of all people should know this by now,"
Elenna smiled. "I know. But I can't even believe that I'm going to have a baby. It doesn't even feel real. I feel just...big. Really big."
"You ARE really big!" Tiri laughed, "But it will be amazing! A beautiful little baby to hold in your arms, to sing to sleep. A beautiful baby that will keep us all up in the night, so that no one gets any sleep...I can't wait," Tiri said with a mocking dreamy voice.
"Thanks Tiri, that helped alot."

Elenna stood before Morlhach's stall, rubbing the black stallion's nose. He whickered and shifted restlessly.
"I know, boy, I know," Elenna whispered. "But I can't ride you for another week or two. Not until the baby's born."
She glanced down over the massive bulk of her stomach.
"Whoo. I didn't know it could stretch this far," she muttered.
But, running her hand over her belly, she felt the strong kick of the infant within, and smiled dreamily.
"I wonder whether it'll be a boy or a girl."

"Maybe twins, by the size of it."
Glorfindel's voice startled Elenna and she turned to see him leaning against the stable door nonchalantly, but still with a distinctively nervous air as she turned. Checking the stable quickly for any objects Elenna might have at hand that could be easily hurled, he approached with a sheepish smile, an apple in his hand which Morlhach quickly and gratefully ate.
"Oh, rude!" His wife scolded, but not too seriously. Being with Morlhach always calmed her down, and he knew he would have found her here. She yearned to be able to ride the splendid stallion again. He laughed and held his arms out to her, before enveloping her in a tender, but careful hug, with Elenna only coming up just past his shoulder. They stayed like that for a moment, before Glorfindel detached himself, reaching around with one hand to rest it on her now bulging stomach. Under his touch, a child kicked. Elenna winced slightly, but Glorfindel didn't remove his hand immediately. A second later, he felt another kick from a different place on his palm. He turned excited blue eyes on Elenna own bright, cornflower ones. "You know, I think it really could be twins."
Elenna rolled her eyes. "Oh, double trouble!" She groaned, but the happy grin didn't remove itself from her face, even as she added the next bit. "Well, I suppose stretch marks won't matter- they have alot to compare with!"
She was referring to the long, deep scar that ran across her lower torso, the thing which they had been worried might stop them from ever having children. This huge scar had been inflicted by the brutal and vicious Uruk-hai, Elenna's arch enemy and the killer of her sister, Azruk. Glorfindel himself had not got away lightly from this combat, having most of the muscles in his leg almost completely destroyed, and they had certainly taken their time healing, still leaving the blonde elf limping slightly when he was tired. Elenna looked troubled for a moment, her eyes clouding. "What if another-"
Glorfindel raised a finger to her lips gently. "Shh. Don't worry, my darling. Nothing like that will ever happen again to you, or to our child, or children. I will not allow it."
Elenna breathed out deeply, her smile returning. Sighing, she let him take her back into his arms, leaning his head against hers. "And neither will I." She whispered.

Ala rode the borders of Wellinghall, silently searching for anything that might attack. She promised herself that she would not let anything touch another hair on Elenna's body, let alone the child, or children that her dear friend was carrying.
Tiri and Glorfindel had gotten word of some kind of uprising to south. They both agreed, yes they agreed on something, that they would not tell Elenna about it, and swore to kill anyone who told her. Thankfully no one had...yet, but Tiri and Glorfindel knew that it was only a matter of time. Elenna knew everything that went on in the realm of Wellinghall.
Tiri was atop her gray stallion, slowly walking him along the hills. The sun was setting behind her, and she was searching for anything that would cause pain to their realm, but so far, nothing has happened, and Tiri has been spared, or should I say her victims have been spared, the joy of burning things...

The giant Uruk raised his sword once more, above the still figure on the ground, a cruel, ugly smile cracking his dark, vicious face. Sword poised, he looked up now, across at Glorfindel where he lay, unable to get up, unable to get over to Elenna, and the beast smiled wickedly. Then, with a wild, angry laugh, he brought the sword down-
Glorfindel sat up with a start, breathing heavily, eyes wide open. His breathing calmed down after a second and he looked down at his side where Elenna lay, her face peaceful, a slight smile on her lips. Alive. No uruk's sword was poised above her, or worse-
"Just a dream. It was just a dream." Glorfindel murmured almost inaudibly. Taking a deep breath, he began to lie down again, before a knock on the door startled him, almost had him reaching onto the bedside table for his sword. But his sword no longer lay there, within reach, at night; he had had to abandon that habit as a further means of convincing Elenna that all was well. She knew nothing of his dreams, and he was determined she wouldn't.
Another, more insistent knock at the door, and an impatient sigh. Glorfindel swung his legs gently over the side of the bed, careful not to disturb Elenna, and grabbed shirt from the bedside and a pair of loose britches, pulling them on swiftly. As another knock came, so loudly Glorfindel thought it would awaken Elenna, he sped up into a soft-footed run, and wrenched open the door.
"What- oh, it's you."
"Happy to see you as well, Glorfindel." Alatiriel answered drolly. "Still, I'm glad you were awake-"
"I wasn't." Glorfindel cut in, mainly just for the sake of being difficult, closing the door behind him. He and Ala had a long standing thing going with this, although their relationship was becoming easier. They had had to agree on some things, at any rate, for the good of Elenna.
"Yes, you were." Ala's voice was more gentle. Glorfindel raised an eyebrow- it unnerved him still how the witch knew some things like this, but he was getting used to it, with time. "Was it the dreams again?"
Glorfindel ignored the question, answering it with another question. "Did you find anything?"
Ala ran a critical eye over the disheveled elf. "Get dressed, Glorfindel. We need to talk."

Ala waited outside, as the elf dressed. He came back out, and followed her outside, to the balcony. She leaned over, and glanced up at the stars. Her white her seeming to glow against the black sky.
"What do we need to talk about?" Glorfindel asked quietly, walking up beside her.
"We have a small problem," Ala started, "Before I rode back, I noticed a small spot against the horizon."
"What was this spot, of yours?"
"It was a band, of...something, but what I'm not sure," She took a breath, "I tried to sense them, and gods, I sensed them. Evil, powerful being, but what they are, I couldn't tell you."
"WHAT?! What do you mean Alateriel?" Glorfindel shouted.
"Shh...keep your voice down, man!" Tiri hissed.
"Well, what do you mean, witch?" He snarled at her.
"I mean we might have trouble. I will keep a close on them," She responded.

Off in that little spot that the elf witch had mentioned, trouble was starting to arise, and a new evil was about to usurp a nation...

"WHAT?! What do you mean, Alatiriel?"
"Keep your voice down, man!"
Glorfindel got a grip on himself, but he didn't understand- surely Tiri had got it wrong. Gods? Surely not... Or was she playing with him, trying to make him upset, trying to make him worry...
"Well, what do you mean, witch?" He was almost snarling this time.
I mean we might have trouble. I will keep a close eye on them," the witch responded primly, quite unperturbed. Glorfindel immediately felt guilty for using such a tone with her. He sighed and looked out across the horizon as the sun began to rise. This little spot would mean more than a little trouble, he could feel it, and guessed Tiri felt it as well. He looked across at the witch, her fine white hair gleaming in the light of the dying stars mixed with the beginning of the sunlight.
"I'm sorry, Tiri," The witch looked surprised at this, and looked in astonishment, and a little satisfaction, at the elven warrior- it wasn't often that she recieved an apology from Glorfindel. But it worried her a little as well- it meant he really was very worried. But he couldn't help it- he couldn't stand the thought that something like Azruk might be lurking out there and could harm his wife, especially now she was with child, and if Tiri was right, this was far worse than any simple Uruk-hai. "Our agreement still holds? We will not tell her anything?"
"Will not tell who anything?" The sleepy voice from behind them made both the warrior and the witch spin around guiltily to see Elenna standing behind them, a loose dressing gown wrapped around her, smiling, thankfully, although she did look a little suspicious. Who wouldn't? She had just heard Glorfindel and Tiri apparently make an 'agreement'!

Tiri smiled, and looked at Elenna. She looked calm, but her mind was reeling!
'Oh no! What if she overheard? What if she miscarriages! We have to cover it up!' The witch thought to herself.
"You, we cannot tell you anything," Tiri said quickly as she thought of something.
"Why not?" Elenna asked.
"Well, because it's a surprise!" Glorfindel followed Tiri's lead.
"What surprise?" Elenna askes suspiciously.
"Now, it wouldn't be a surprise if we told you now would it, my dear?" Tiri said, as she walked up next to Elenna, "Now, why don't you go back to bed, and let me and your dear husband, continue."
Tiri and Elenna walked back to Elenna's room, and Tiri made sure that the pregnant elf layed down, and was tucked in. She kissed the top of her forehead, and whispered, "Go back to sleep, El."
~*~*~*~*~*~*~
"She's asleep?"
"Yes, she is, and now, we have to get her something," Ala thought for a moment.
"What should we get her?"
"I don't know, she already has everything her little heart could desire, a new baby, an obnoxious husband, and the best friend and witch a girl could ask for!" Ala smirked.
"Thanks," Glorfindel said gloomily.
Ala rolled her eyes, and leaned back against the railing, "But what should we do about this? I mean, I can camp out somewhere along the borders, and keep watch..."
"No, Elenna would ask why you were gone," Glorfindel said.
"Well, then all we can do for now is keep an eye out."

Glorfindel agreed, and, wanting some time to think, he bid Tiri good morning and went back to his room to put his riding boots on. He could always relax more when he was riding, and when he galloped over the plains surrounding Wellinghall, leaning low over Asfaral, he could temporarily thow his worries to the wind which whipped past him.
Opening the door quietly, he checked Elenna had gone back to bed and, when he saw the reasurring bulge under the covers, he walked lightfootedly over to his side, where his high leather boots lay. Picking them up, he turned to go, before Elenna's voice made him freeze.
"What are you hiding, Glorfindel Goldenhelm?" Her voice was accusatory, almost teacherish, and for a moment, Glorfindel was a boy, millenia ago, caught doodling horses and warriors on the side of his work books. He turned slowly, but was able to cover up his guilt quickly, grinning boyishly at his wife.
"It's a surprise, El, I told you." He winked at her. For a moment, Elenna's eyes grew even narrower, then she smiled- she was unable to resist his smile. Then her gaze caught the boots in his hand and her smile faded somewhat. "Going riding?"
Glorfindel mentally winced. Elenna's disability of not being able to ride at the moment stung her deeply, he knew. But he needed to get out. He opened his mouth hesitantly, but she waved a hand, smiling again. "No, go, do. I can't stop you from riding just because I am."
"Sure?"
"'Course. Go on."
Glorfindel smiled gratefully, and walked back to the bed, where he kissed his wife on the forehead. "Thanks, love. I will be back in a few hours." As he left the room, he took another look at Elenna, propped up in bed, the sunlight from outside catching the side of her beautiful face and making the hidden blondes and reds in her hair come out more strongly, one hand resting tenderly on the lump of her stomach where one, if not two, children were. His children. His heart glowed with love for her all of a sudden, and he knew that he would not simply be going for a pleasure ride to forget his worries. He had now given a legitimate reason for being out for a few hours, riding, and he would take full advantage of them to get to the point Alatiriel had spoken off and to check out what was going on. Any scum that dared to come within a hundred leagues of his wife and unborn child, or children, would come to regret the day it was born. Correction, it would come to regret the day Glorfindel had been born.
Leaving the room with a final smile at his wife, the golden haired warrior made his way quickly to the stables, where with he mounted bareback, pausing only to put on his sword belt. He didn't bother with a cloak- it was a beautiful day, and he was optimistic it would stay that way. Riding quickly out on the jet black Asfaral, who had already been tended to earlier that morning by the stable hands, he was out of the walls in a few moments, and riding free on the plains...unaware he was being watched from above. Elenna hadn't let him go so easily for no reason- no she had time to go a little investigation herself.

Elenna sat in deep concentration in her room. She wanted to know what those two were up to. She knew something was going on, that's why she sent out a little birdie, to find out what her dear husband was up too.
"El! GOODMORNING!" Tiri burst into her room cheerfully.
"Tiri, why are you so happy, it's a little scary," Elenna said looking at her friend.
"What am I not aloud to be happy for my friend?" Tiri said with moch hurt.
"Yes, but your scarily happy,"
"Yes, well, I'm just excited about your surprise!" Tiri said as she made her way over to the bed.
"Please, what is it? Tell me, c'mon, Tiri!" Elenna begged, she hated surprises!
"Nope, not telling," Tiri said with a grin.
"Argh! YOU people are impossible!" El said as she through her pillow at Tiri, which hit her square in the face.
"Watch it! And what do you mean by YOU people?"
"You witch types!" El said.
"That's prejudice! You can't be predjudice against your best friend, witch or not," Tiri said a matter of factly.
"Whatever, any way, Glorfindel went riding, I wish I could go riding too," She said gloomily.
"You will be riding soon enough, my dear," Tiri said. She just didn't want her riding now, not with the threat that was to be faced, or supposing threat. She wouldn't really know until Glorfindel got back, hopefully got back...

"What!?!" Elenna exclaimed. She had been planning to take a look around Wellinghall to figure out what her husband and Tiri were up to.
"For Manwe's sake, El, your babies were due yesterday! I can't have you walking around! You're liable to explode at any second, and I can't carry you!"
"Thank you ever so. And you're sure they're twins?"
"Look at yourself, Elenna Starsong. You look like you're going to give birth to an oliphaunt. You're lucky it's only two."
"But why can't I get up?"
"Because you might lose the babies if you do."
Elenna looked up in fear at her friend and healer. That thought had never crossed her mind until now.
"All right. I'll stay."
"Should I bring you something to do?"
"Yes, that might be nice.

A few minutes later, Tiri came back into the room. In her hands were a few scrolls, a thick leatherbound book, and a piece of wrapped up cloth. Elenna unrolled the white linen, and several hanks of silk fell out.
"I thought you might want to embroider something nice for the babies' room," Tiri said wickedly, ducking as the linen and thread came flying at her face.
"I'm pregnant, not insane!" Elenna shouted.

"Now, be a good pregnant little elf, and stay put. Unlike you, I have work to do," Tiri stood, and walked towards the door, "I'm watching you."
"I'm watching you," Elenna mocked. She sighed and pulled out a book to read. It was going to be a long day.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Tiri sat atop Zypheros, and gently walked him to the west. To west, yes, she thought, that was where the wild ponies ran free. This was Elenna's gift. Elenna would always sit atop a hill and watch as the ponies ran and played. They had never attempted to catch one, for that seemed impossible, but today, Ala would do the impossible, catch a wild pony.
She nudged him to the top of the hill, and readied her rope. She had once been taught how to catch wild horses, for her horse was once wild. She searched the ponies until she found the perfect one. A little buckskin, full of energy.
Ala and Zypheros galloped down the hill, wind licking her hair, and stinging her eyes. She let out a yell of joy, and a huge grin spread across her face. She ponies saw her coming, and bolted in the opposite direction, their hooves pounding across the green grass. She never lost sight of her target, and was soon close behind the little buckskin. She urged Zypheros to go faster. She twirled her laso, and let it loose. It flew through the air, and landed neatly around the pony's neck. It bucked and kicked, and whinied as Ala held fast, securing the rope to her saddle.
"Ho, easy boy," She slid off and slowly walked up to the pony.
It backed away a bit, until Ala produced a small treat.
"I think you'll like your new home."

Meanwhile Glorfindel too had stopped for a while. He had ridden for several hours straight and now, as the sun reached the peak of her journey, he had dismounted, allowing Asfaral a free reign to graze off the lush grass.
Standing beside the beautiful stallion, the elf ran his fingers down the smooth, silky black fur on the horse's neck and was thanked with a soft whinny. But they had rested for about twenty minutes now, and Glorfindel couldn't just sit around. Across the flat plains around Wellinghall he could see right back to the citadel where his wife, unborn children, and Tiri were, but the land began to rise here. Against the sun, the silhouette of the crest of the hill about half an hours ride away from him looked striking - and for some reason, he had a very bad feeling about what could be over that crest. It was from there, he reckoned, that Alatiriel had sensed her 'powerful beings'. Unknown powerful beings.
"The worst type," Glorfindel murmured wryly to himself with a sigh, before giving Asfaral's muscly neck a last, definitive pat. "Come on, mellon, we have work to do. No, I don't like it either." He added at the horse's protesting groan as he gathered up the reigns. "That's why I have to know what 'it' is."
He made another attempt at pulling the horse's head up. Asfaral pulled away, then stood, glaring at Glorfindel resentfully. The elf returned the stare, then gave up with a sigh. Gods, everyone was against him...
"Extra oats?"
Still just a glare.
"Even better hay?" If possible, probably not, he added to himself.
Still just a glare. Inspiration struck Glorfindel and he looked across slyly at the horse.
"How about...if I ask Elenna about her beautiful new chestnut mare?"
Consideration. Then the horse lowered his head. Glorfindel laughed, stepping around to the side and mounting swiftly, patting the horse's neck. "Ai, you saucy devil, Asfaral. Come on, I plan to be back before evening or Elenna'll have my guts for garters." With that he nudged the horse with a word into a walk, then into a quick trot, then canter, Asfaral's long, dark legs eating the distance between them and the crest...
~*~
Slowing, Glorfindel made small shushing noises to calm down Asfaral as they came to the top of the hill, the horse breathing deeply underneath him. Continuing in a walk, elf and horse walked the last few metres to the top, and Glorfindel couldn't help mentally bracing himself for what he might see...and it was as well he had.
From the top of that hill crest, you could see for miles, tens of miles, all around in most direction, and the view was always enough to take Glorfindel's breath away, with the rolling hills and fields, both wild and tended to, coming out in strange and vivid colours, dappled by the sunlight, forming almost a surreal view.
But today that view was marred, for to the West there was a blot upon the fantastic artist's canvas. A large blot. Moving Asfaral around on the spot so he could look out sideways more easily, the elf shaded his eyes against the bright sun and peered with his sharp eyesight at the blot. He couldn't make out much, but there were tents, many tents, and around them...
What were they? Creatures, apparently walking on two legs, but that was all he could see of them. They were like shadows, vague suggestions of figures, but somehow obscured. No matter how much the elf tried to see, it was impossible; the more he looked, the more hazy the figures became. It was like looking through a gauze curtain.
Doing a quick estimation of how far away they were, then how big the tents were in his eyes, Glorfindel's eyes suddenly widened. Surely not...it had to be some trickery! They were at least twice as big as a normal figure! No doubt it was, he had seen both Alatiriel and Amananaduial perform such hallucinations and illusions in the War For Rivendell. And sure enough, when he looked at them again, all the shapes, both the figures and the tents, seemed to flicker strangely, as if he was looking at them through water. But if they were illusions, was the seeming distance also unreal? Some magic was abroad - he would have to ask Tiri about that. But in the meantime, it seemed to him he had learnt practically nothing.
Setting his jaw grimly, Glorfindel turned and, speeding Asfaral on into a gallop almost immediately, he made for Wellinghall as quickly as possible...

"Shadows!" Tiri hissed as Glorfindel told her what he saw.
"Shadows? What are Shadows?" The elf asked.
"Deep, dark magic. They are souls of the dead, taken, stolen from the owner's body. They are orc, elf, man, dwarf, whatever the dark mage can take using them as his minions. But there is more evil at work here. I have consulted my ancestors, but they don't tell me much. Something bad is going to happen, and fast. We must get Elenna away from this place, we must call up an army behind her back. I will ride out tomarrow, and observe them, see what I can learn," She told him.
"How? These Shadows, they are obscured. You cannot see them properly."
"I can," She sighed, "I feel his presence."
"What?" Glorfindel was utterly confused. She was talking about some unknown man that she talked like she knew.
"Don't ask questions, just raise up an army, and do it quickly and quietly. You lovely wife will give birth any day now, and she must not be under pressure. I keep watch on the enemy."
And with that, she left the poor confused elf standing in the stable.

Glorfindel opened his mouth to say something, raising a hand, then stopped, simply staring bemused and helplessly after Ala as she swept off. Realising his hand was still raised, he dropped it slowly, letting out his breath in a sigh.
"Shadows? Stolen souls? Dark magic? It's all bleedin Haradian to me...." he murmured quietly, turning and leaning on the balcony ledge at the still idylic countryside. Leaning down, he massaged his temples.
"Call up an army, and do it quickly and quietly...". Ala's words came back to him and the golden-haired elf frowned. Easy for her to say, she didn't have a wife with the eyes of a hawk and the ears of a fox, even without gossipy servants.
Still, it had to be done, and he would indeed do it with the utmost subtlety - the elf had not got through so many years without several good allies and contacts, those who he could trust with anything, their secrecy, their friendship and their strength being a few of the things that would prove especially useful. News would no doubt get around Wellinghall eventually, but he would wait to go down to the soldiers still here until he had contacted a few old friends...
Turning briskly, Glorfindel started towards the stairs towards the avery - he had a few old contacts to rekindle...

Elenna sat up in bed, propped against a pile of pillows. On her expansive stomach she had propped a leatherbound book, and was recording, in very bold script, the history of the Rivendell War.
"It seems like it was yesterday," she whispered. "I'll never forget it, I suppose, but still, the memories are so fresh."
She grimaced in discomfort as a sharp line of pain coiled around her back and stomach. It traced the line of her battle scar, and she frowned. Such a scar shouldn't still hurt, centuries later. But never mind.
She continued to write, recounting the incident where Feaelenawen, Elrond's adopted daughter, was accidentally lit on fire at a banquet. But the pain came again, fiercer and hotter than before, some minutes later.
Elenna's eyes widened. "Tiri!" she shouted. "TIRI! GET UP HERE NOW!"

As he pored over the tiny slip of paper, his quick, elegant hand darting across the paper, the messenger pigeon waiting patiently on the small wooden perch, Glorfindel heard the scream, a chilling noise from upstairs. Then another, just like it, but worse this time.
Frozen for a moment in the aviary, pigeons taking flight all around him, flustered by the almost animal noise, both angry and terrified at the same time, memories flooded back to the elf of that scream. But he didn’t pause for long – if those evil creatures, those dark beings, had found Elenna and entered the citadel, he would not be caught as helpless as before. Grabbing his sword from where it lay on a bench beside him, discarding the sheath quickly with a small metallic noise as he slid the fine blade out, the hand holding the message screwed up tightly, the golden haired elf bolted from the aviary, sprinted to the stairs. He took them two at a time, and once again another cry came, this time more drawn out and strained. Not wanting to know what was happening but determined to stop it, the elf, sword in hand, flew along the corridor and pushed open the door to the chamber he and his wife shared…
“Elenna!” He cried.
“Glorfindel!” Elenna replied.
“Get out!” Tiri snapped.
A pause.
“What?” Came the confused reply from both. Tiri tsked from where she stood beside Elenna’s bed, and for the first time, Glorfindel fully took in the scene and the lack of dark spirits there. Yet as he watched, his wife once more arched her back in pain, gritting her teeth against the groan that welled up. Then, from behind him, another woman entered, carrying a bowl of hot water with a few towels hung across her right arm, with another following her, and another crossing the room from the bathroom to the bed and kneeling at the end of it. And somewhere in that process, it dawned on him, and he couldn’t help grinning incredulously, yet delightedly.
“Now? Our children are coming now?” he cried, flustered. Elenna glared at him, but gave a small, strained half laugh at the same time.
“Yes, you fool! They’re coming….now….”

"He comes!" cried a snivelling, little twisted being, formerly a lowly snaga, now a tenderer of the darkness within. The orc-thing scampered out of the dank caves and raced towards his fellow-brethren camped at the base of the mountain. They had to be prepared for the coming of their dark master.

Home is behind, the world ahead, and there are many paths to tread.
Through shadow, through the edge of night, until the stars are all alight. Mist and shadows, cloud and shade, all shall fade, all shall...
...fade.
