The Guardians Revealed.

Talon attacked Exan, his claws ripping Exan's flesh. Exan was about to collapse when his body suddenly started to glow bright white light. Talon was forced to reatreat since the glow was painfully to his eyes. Exan grew taller and his spear was replaced with a pure white sword.
Dracan was still watching the fight nearby.(only watching)
Dracan: "ah. Talon attacks physically that guardian. A foolish trick to do when guardian has already gained this planet's trust."
Lich: "Can we leave now, Dracan?"
Dracan:"Just a moment. Look at that sword Lich. It's the Whiteflash. The sword which killed you many worlds( bad word to express time but... you get the picture) ago. Don't let it happen this time."

(OOC: When a Light Warrior is accepted by the planet he or she is trying to protect, he gains special powers whenever he is killed in his guardian form. Then the wounds are healed and the Guardian of Light morphs into True Guardian. However, when the True Guardian is killed, The person who is morphed die also. The Whiteflash is a holy sword with dispel ability)

Massacre The Darkgod SOLDIER First Class Posts: 116 (1/7/02 21:59)	The Guardians Revealed. OOC: The next NEXT installment. (They appeared over the area where Shimmering Island once stood. Lich pointed a bony hand at it and there was suddenly a rumbling from beneath the waves.) Lich: I have not lost my touch. (Shimmering Island resurfaced, an icy wasteland abandoned to the sea. The three Guardians landed upon it to inspect the layout.) Dracan: Does anybody sense him? Kary: Yes.... He's under that hill, frozen in the ice and contained... Lich: Pray, release him, yes? Kary: Of course. (An arc of fire scorched the nearby hill and detonated the ice. Steam now rose from a pool of boiling water.) Dracan: Good to see that you haven't lost your touch either. Now we will- Voice: Excuse me. Dracan: Hmmmm? (They all turn around to see who had spoken. What they see is a dripping-wet Black Waltz. Despite himself, Dracan can't help but laugh.) Dracan: You really shouldn't swim here. You could get frozen solid. Or catch your death of cold! Black Waltz: Actually, I was thinking death of Shadow. Lich: Say again? Black Waltz: I know Doomsday. With that in mind, I don't think you'll be resurrecting anyone today. Dracan: That's what you think. (Dracan transforms into a giant winged snake numerous fangs and a hypnotic gaze.) Dracan: Put the ssstaff down. (He was attempting to use his imposing nature and the Gaze to mesmerize Black Waltz.) * * * (Jason finally knew who it was that had been waiting at Shimmering Island. In his mind's eye, he saw exactly what happened. He told Zidane, but the part about Black Waltz didn't appeal to him.) Zidane: I understand about ShimmeringIsland, but why should we help something as evil as the Black Waltz?

Ultimate Massacre Regular Posts: 17 (1/9/02 22:04)	It works. Jason: C'mon, Zidane. He DID help me get to Alexandria when it was under attack. Zidane: Oh...alright... We should go anyway to stop them from reviving Kraken, anyway. Jason: How did you know it was Kraken? Zidane: Do you think Tiamat would be on some frozen island? Exan: He's got a point there. (They return to the Invinible and take off for Shimmering Island, which isn't too far away really.) * * * (Dracan continues his manipulation...) Dracan: Bend to my will... Black Waltz: Wa... Dracan: No, no, no. Will, my will. Black Waltz: Water! Dracan: WAH! (All three Guardians of Chaos are hit with a wave of water. Kary is especially pissed off by this turn of events.) Kary: You little fool! I'll burn you and that straw hat to cinders! (Kary casts Flare on the Black Waltz, burning him severely. He has to roll around on the icy ground to put himself out. Afterwhich, he's a little extre crispy.) Kary: That should teach you a lesson. I'd like to see him cast Doomsday after that. He doesn't even have that staff of his anymore. Dracan: Yesss... (Dracan returns to being a human again.) Kary: How do you do that? We may be in our halfling forms, but you seen to take any form that suits you. Dracan: Didn't you know? I am a polymorph. Any bird or beast is mine to copy. I'm even better than the mysterious Gogo Godfingers. Kary: Who is... Lich: Don't ask. Dracan: Nevermind that. We have a friend to awaken. The Guardians of Chaos were so busy at dealing with the Black Waltz and awakening Kraken that they didn't even notice the ship. Kary lifted her head however as sensing someone's presence. Kary:"I can sense something." Dracan:"Just continue melting the ice." Kary: "OK" Exan, Zidane and others left the ship and walked to encounter the bad guys again. Lich was about to pick the Black Waltz's staff (he didn't have a better thing to do) but a strong wind moved it away. Angry Lich turned to look where the staff had flown and noticed Exan holding it. Lich:"Dracan, Kary. We have company. Two Light Warriors, monkey and the summoner." Kary:" So they have found the master of Gravity. I knew that it was you I sensed." Dracan:"Kary! Continue melting the ice when I and Lich deal with this little interruption." Exan and Fiona starts to glow and they are now in trance. They also got the armors again. (Guardians of Chaos are the triggers. Otherwise it's just the normal trance which is double as hard to "gain" than others) Exan starts calling thunderclouds and created a few small tornados. Fiona casts a Demi6 (in FF7 scale=Demi3*2) on Lich who screams in pain. Lich:"You're going to pay for that" The earth starts to shake. " There are no such things as good and evil. Ultimate Massacre Regular Posts: 20 (1/16/02 17:14)	Wait a second... Kary: I thought YOU had the Ultima to wake him. Dracan: I do, but it's a massive pod. Keep burning. Kary: Right! Dracan: Now then... (He turns to face his enemies as Lich is still Earthquaking them.) Dracan: In the tongue of the ancient ones, I smite thee with the great powers of evil! Megidola! (Suddenly, a powerful surge of energy blasts them all.) Dracan: I hate old enemies. Lich, continue your rampage! Lich: From the darkness of the earth, I do cast the spell of spirit drinking! Maha Mudo! (A blast directly from the ground fires up at the lot of them. This is a spell usually efective on the holy. However, it is also affecting Jason a great deal.) Jason: Can't...move... (He hits the ground, most of his natural energy has left him. Meanwhile, the pod containing Kraken is fully-exposed.) Dracan: Much obliged, Kary. Now it's my turn. Kary: No, it is mine. Dracan: Hmmm? Kary: You've been depriving me of the fight, dear Dracan. I need to stretch my legs too, you know. Dracan: You don't have any legs. Kary: You know what I mean. (Kary turns and heads down to Lich to join the battle while Dracan gets down to business!) I know all of your burdens, your pains... Let me make them...WORSE!
Gilnor SeeD Posts: 186 (1/17/02 12:08)	The battle When Dracan's energy blast hit the others, dozens of lightning bolts descented from the sky and hit the bolt reducing it almost to nothingness.(it's still powerful though) Exan called winds to raise him above ground. He continued his concentration on stormclouds and summoned thunderstorm. Dracan(After the lightning bolt had cleared the effect of his strike with an ear ripping blow.):"He sure is noisy" Lich:" Tell me about it!" Again hundreds of lightning bolts stroke at Exan this time. He controlled the bolts and freed the energy towards Dracan and Kary. (there's no point at shooting Lich since he is the earth guardian. The same method works if you put a metal bar to a ground. If lightning hits it the metal bar directs the bolt to ground) Dracan merely shook the bolt off but Kary was hit by it's full force. Kary:" So much....pain. You are going to pay for that" Exan continues to summon more lightning to work as his shield. Dracan was now awaking Kraken. Exan: "Fiona! Take care of Lich. Zidane, Dagger and Jason! Stop Dracan. Dagger was already concentrating to summon an eidolon. When Kary prepared to attack Exan, the sky darkened and a black shape dived through the clouds. Bahamut hovered above Dracan and started to pull air to his lungs for Mega Flare attack. " There are no such things as good and evil. These things depends of our point of view"
Ultimate Massacre Regular Posts: 21 (1/18/02 20:29)	Big problem. (Dracan looks up at Bahamut and smiles.) Dracan: Now where did I put it... AH! (He throws something up at the mighty dragon, straight into his mouth. It looks like a small bag of something. When it enters Bahamut, it explodes! Bahamut chokes for a minute and belches a huge flame down at Dracan.) Dracan: Ha ha! There's never been a dragon that could resist a helping of Dragon's Bain! Hey ummm...Sniff, sniff What's cooking? YAAAAAH!! (Dracan hastely puts himself out. Meanwhile, Kary is keeping the others occupied with some Liquid Fire. She's spraying the stuff out of one hand like it were a high-pressure garden hose.) Lich: I think we can take a break. Kary: What? How come? Lich: Look. (He points at Jason.) Lich: He is descended of the ancient one, Massacre. Kary: He'll go wild. Lich: Exactly. I do not know what keeps this 'Talon' dorment, but I'm sure it is wearing very thin. (Lich and Kary back away, much to everyone's surprise. But then, they didn't hear their conversation.) Zidane: They retreated? Dagger: Why? Voice: You should know. (The voice came from behind. Zidane looked back. So did Dagger. What they saw confirmed their suspicions. Talon had returned. However, this was not the same as the last time. Now, his body had changed. Before, he had simply possessed Jason. Something had changed. He was average height, with a few horns decorating his head. His teeth were razor-sharp and his eyes as deep as black holes. Talon's color was brown, except where he has exposed ribs and the veins of his wings. Zidane had never seen Talon's true form before, but knew it was him nonetheless.) Zidane: What have you done THIS TIME?! Talon: I have been freed for flesh. The boy is dead. Dagger: WHAT!? (Talon moved aside as they could see the prone form of Jason lying there behind him. Talon being free may be a worse plague than Dracan!) OOC: Okay, here's the scoop. Lich and Dracan got really lucky when they attacked. They managed to deliver death upon Jason and thus freed Talon. However, should he be brought back to life somehow, Talon's body will fade into shadow again. HINT: Life and recovery items will not do it. Talon's will can negate the effects. Whatever it is has to be powerful and unexpected. And maybe the battlefield isn't such a hot place to be doing it either. I know all of your burdens, your pains... Let me make them...WORSE!

Exan:" More darkness have arrived to this world. More than we are able to deal with. Exan turned to face Dracan again. Exan: You have won this time. Awake Kraken and leave. Dracan:"What's the matter Light Warrior? Having too much troubles?" A lighting bolt swung from the sky hit Dracan painfully enough to remind him that even that he posseses a greater power than Exan, Light Warriors master also a great power. Exan turned to look at the sky. Exan: "Gaia! We need your help! The earth started to shake and a deep crift opened near Jason. Jason fell to that crift and the earth closed again. Dracan:"Lich. Why did you do that?" Lich:" I didn't. It was something else" Exan: Jason has been taken by Gaia. He is being transferred to a place full of life where an ancient water god protects him. (OOC:Well we still have to deal with Talon. Jason has been transferred to Daguerreo. Change the events if you want Massacre. Even though Jason has been transferred to a place full of life that doesn't mean that he is instantly cured. It may take a long time before Talon's powers can be won and Jason revived again. Massacre, would you mind playing the Light Warrior Ultima for a while. I don't know much about ultima's powers. I'm much more familiar with elements so...) It's going to get very wet here in a minute. That, and this Talon fella has a temper like a tactical nuke. Lich: Tactical...what? Kary: We've been gone way too long. (They both vanish. Dracan completes the transfer of Ultima energy unabated and stands back. The container explodes and a fury of tentacles rip through the icy land. Kraken currently looks like the underwater beast of the Sargasso Sea, with the upper-body of a bearded man and the lower body of a squid. Even though this is a halfling form, he is quite large.) Kraken: I am the sea...and lord of its waves. I am water eternal! Dracan: Very nice speech. Would you care to come with me? Kraken: I might, were I to know to whom I speak. Dracan: Don't tell me you've forgotten your old comrades. This is clearly a case of water on the brain. Kraken: Oh yes. How could I forget the wiseguy of our group? Guardian of Power, Dracan. Dracan: Bingo. Now come on. We have work to do. Kraken: Very well. (Kraken leaves by water and Dracan follows in the form of a two-headed swordfish. Meanwhile, Talon's angr peaks, as he is tired of hearing Zidane, and blasts the area with Laceration Winds.) OOC: Laceration Winds are a sudden burst of wind and energy from Talon's wings that take on an air-blade form, cutting through whatever is in its path. Other spells I may use include Magma Storm, Earthen Cyclone, Acid Meltdown, and the Dark Power.

(Talon winds up...and pitches a sizable blast of the Dark Power. That holy sword wasn't designed for THIS!) (OOC: Understanding, of course, that the world of Gaea isn't exactly one that the Great Light frequents, as you never hear of the Profound Darkness here. Holy power is effective, but not as totally as Great Light on fiends like Talon.) I know all of your burdens, your pains... Let me make them...WORSE!

You cannot fight against the whole planet.* Talon:"Atleat I can try!" Talon shooted another Dark Power blast towards Exan who dodged the attack this time. Exan: (shouting to the sky) *Winds of the sky, thunder of the sky. Heed my call. Come to my aid* Storm clouds started to gather around Exan and few tornados "landed from the sky." (OOC: Let's add few elements to the fight and we have a nice battle. Also I have a bad piece of news. The school has ended for me almost entirely. I have this last examweek and after that I start to study for the matriculation exam which is in march or so. Since I don't have access to internet at home I cannot visit here so often. But I will come here now and then so don't stop posting. Also here's a funny website I found. IC> Talon: I can erase you from existence itself. Everything can be torn down by the might of the Dark Power! (Taking in mind that his previous attack was just a pitch, Talon prepares to fire a beam of pure decimation. However, the energy is suddenly cut short.) Talon: Wha...? Oh no...not that! Damn then all! A resurrection?! (Talon's body begins to fade.) Talon: Very well then. One final momento of the time I was free. (With a snap of his fingers, just as he disappears, Talon conjures an Acid Meltdown. The choppy waters surrounding the island spew forth and get caught in the tornadoes, causing an acid storm.) The battle has ended.* The acid tornados stopped and the thunderclouds turned to ordinary rainclouds. A gentle rain started. Exan started to glow bright light again and he morphed to his normal self. But then, a rumbling sound begins and the entire island shakes.) Zidane: What's this? What's going on? Fiona: It was Lich's will that held this island aloft. He must have given up the ship! Zidane: Great.... Everyone back to the Invincible! I'll take Exan! (Zidane pulls Exan along and reaches the sirship before the island totally sinks.) Dagger: That was close. Dracan is getting more and more allies. How many more are there? Zidane: We fought them all in Memoria. The last one was...Tiamat. Fiona: Tiamat of the wind and thunder... Which leads to Chaos. Dagger: What did you say? Fiona: It's a prophecy. "Shadow and light bring forth the Unknown Savior. In his wake, he shall bring ancient creatures of darkness. Lich of the tainted earth, Kary of the wild fire, Kraken of the open sea, and Tiamat of the wind and thunder. These Guardians shall open the Nexus Gate, which leads to Chaos." Zidane: Chaos... I've heard about him. Kuja once spoke of the Guardians of Chaos. They must be trying to bring back their old master! * * * Meanwhile... Jason: Where...am I? (He was suspended in a world of non-existence, a limbo dimension.) Voice: You are safe. Jason: Who's there? Voice: An Eidolon... (Shadows condense like water to create the form of a sea serpent. Jason: Leviathan! Leviathan: You know of me? Jason: I've heard of you. Now what's going on? Leviathan: You had suffered a fatal blow, releasing your dark side onto the world. By giving you life anew, we have safeguarded Gaea from harm again. You have the powr of good and evil, a delicate balance. Do not use it unwisely, or it will be the death of you. Your other half will do anything to be free. Remember that. Jason: So what happens now? Leviathan: When the time comes, you will be returned to the land at the place of fondest memories. Moogle: Kupo! Kupo! Kupo! (A Moogle, name of Mogme, runs into Daguerro followed closely by a Gimme Cat.) Mogme: Get this cat away from me! (The cat looks like all other Gimme Cats, almost like a deranged Manaki Neko. They watch it chase Mogme around a bit before...) *WHACK!!* (Dagger smacks it on the head, knocking it out cold.) Mogme: Thanks, Kupo! Hey! I've got a message for you guys! Dagger: Really? Who from? Mogme: It's from uhhh... No. 128 at the Black Mage Village. Zidane: Give us the message. Mogme: I can't just give it. It's a singing telegram. (Zidane gets an anime sweatdrop. He's never gotten one of those! Exan takes over the conversation.) Exan: Well, if that's what it says, then sing it. (Mogme begins...with a loud base voice! Everyone collapses anime style!) Mogme: Greetings Zidane and Company! A strange thing happened when I opened up the inn today. The room was occupied by that Jason fella! I don't know how he got here, but he mumbled something about Daguerro in his sleep and that's when I sent this message. Sincerely, No. 128! Zidane: Now that's an ear-opener. How'd he get to the Black Mage Village? * * * (He wakes up inside a room at the inn.) Jason: How'd I get here? "We could kill anyone once."
