The Prophecy
Christopher Walken as the archangel Gabriel leading an army of angels against other angels. This film introduces the idea of angels as creatures with severe 'issues'.

'A creature dedicated to the worship of God all the while with one wing dipped in blood. Can you imagine what such a creature would actually be like.'

The film is a must for anyone into angels or Christopher Walken. Viggo Mortensen plays Lucifer expertly although sadly isn't in it very much.

The Prophecy
I love that film. I've only seen it once, I should get my hands on a copy of it.

Christopher Walken rocks. I think it might be mostly the way he talks. I loved him as Max Shreck in Batman, he seems to always get placed in these twisted psycho roles. So smooth, so dangerous, mmm.

I bought my copy from HMV for £10.99 as part of a take two package. It has the Prophecy and the Prophecy II on 1 tape.

The sequel is pretty good too but not as good as the 1st. I also bought Prophecy III at the same time but haven't watched it yet.

the first film was great but i haven't seen the other 2.

...& isn't Glenn Danzig in one of the sequels?
