Things aren't always as they seem (New School.)
I am a junior at Bay City High School, and for those of you who haven't heard, the new high school isn't holding up too well. Many blame the bad weather. But I am starting to think that we did not get our money's worth. Now, I haven't seen this for myself, but I've heard about 5 or 6 accounts of seeing mice running through the lights in the ceiling. One teacher came into my speech class and told my teacher about it. Half of my class went in the room to see "the amazing mouse". I stayed in my seat. Others have been saying that some classrooms are forming cracks in the walls under the windows. Every time it rains, our school smells mighty musky. The carpet has been soaked a few times already. Every time it is raining really hard, I worry about my car all day in the parking lot. If you look at the land, the school is on much lower land than the highway, making it prone to flooding. Why didn't anyone consider these factors before building the school? Feel free to respond!

I have heard a lot about things not being as they should be. Time will tell, I suppose, how much is true. It might be very interesting if someone, somehow got an investigation going (Wayne Dolcefino, where are you??) and either substantiated the rumors or debunked the whole thing. A lot of taxpayer money went into this project, and we have the right to know if our money was well-spent.
