Throttle lever
We still have the original ('Morse' I think) throttle lever in the cockpit. Has anyone replaced theirs with a more modern version. Ours is really stiff to use and I am sick of seeing those race-boys operating their throttles with a flick of a foot!

New lever
Hi Andy. Yes I have replaced the old lever with the new Morse version which is apparently not produced anymore but can be obtained from some outfits like toplicht.de

I heve spent a lot of time trying to fit a teleflex lever, but the modifications in the cockpit wall would have been to extensive.

It works beautifully with our new engine.

Re: New lever
I was thinking that, rather than getting a new gear lever, perhaps all ours needs is an overhall and adjustment.

I will suggest it to the Skipper.

Re: New lever
Andy,

When I got my 31 the throtle lever was an absolute pig to use but after several sprayings of WD40 into all the cracks and working the lever back and forward many times it freed up and now works like a charm.
