Thurg Gate Potions
Hello GT, this is a very useful tip that a friend of mine had told me, its actually part of the shawl quest, but i think i use it more than any caster hehe... Anyways gate potions of any form are very important and very useful especially of there is no wizzy around on a raid :rollin anyways, im just gonna copy and paste what i posted on the EoA board, if there are any questions just email me at gregdemo@attbi.com or send me a tell in game... Also if you guys need a guide on how to build up your potter skill, just hollar ill post that too... anyways here's the guide/recipe for Thurgy Gate potions....

First off, you need to have a skill in pottery of 120+ for it to be trivial (guide for that will come shortly)

Next you have to go see Frundle Frenkler, she is to the left of the bank when facing the bank, her building is the middle building across from the castle looking thing, it will be on your right hand side. Go hail her, the say "what velium vapors?" then she will give you a lil speech and hand you a small container.

Now you take that container back to the bank and start the magic hehe.

Go to the pottery wheel in the bank and combine:

3 crystalline silks + 1 BRICK (unstackable) of velium + 2 glass shards

make sure all things are unstacked. The silks and the bricks can be found in Velketor's or CC off the spiders.

Then take your newly acquired "Unfired Velium Vial" to the kiln and in the kiln you combine:

Unfired Velium Vial + High Quality Firing Sheet

Now you have a "Velium Vial", the last step requires the little container you got from Frundle, in the container you put:

Velium Vial + 2 (unstacked) small PIECES of velium

Voila, your own "Vial of Velium Vapors" complete with "Thurgadin Gate" VERY useful for melees stuck in dungeons =D

First off soul thank you for the guide for the Thurg gate potion i just thought i would add a fast way and cheap to get your skill to 148 in pottery, all it takes is ,

1 small block of clay 1 bowl sketch and 1 water flask = a small bowl trivial at 102 skill, then

1large block of clay 1 large bowl sketch and 1 water flask = a large bowl which is trivial at 148,

Now this does not include firing them but it will not make much money doing so, in my exp it was easier to just drop the bowls on the ground, you can sell them to a vendor if you like and get a few coins back, up to you

aye i did the same thing, but i just made medium bowls the whole time, those should take ya to 120 or so to make the thurg potions trivial =D aye but your way works =D
