VICKI~ don't feel stupid , ivy is fairly unknown. i mean, i've only met one other person who knows of them, but that's only cause he works at a major music outlet in canada. in fact, they're considered "imported music" at U.S. stores.
basically ivy can be considered an emo-rock/indie band. you've heard them before, trust me. their music was played in the second season, "heart of mine". one of their songs, "worry about you" (one of my faves), plays while max & liz are dancing. the other song, "undertow" (my fave ivy song), plays at the end of the episode when liz sees max kiss tess (and when liz ends up at the bowling alley in the end-end). i really love their music. if you're on AIM i can send you a sample or something. let me know
to be honest with you, that's how i discovered ivy as well as a lot of the other bands/artists i've come to LOVE the show has a lot of great music, if anyone is interested in some songs from the show or something i'll be more than happy to help. music and film are my life! LOL ... hmm... i don't know if that's a little sad or what... eh, whatever!

I have actually bought many CDs because I heard songs from them on the show...something like, um 70 of them I have an addiction, I know this Actually, I'm a music lover and this show just opens up the door to new stuff. Yeah, that's it....um, let's change the subject, shall we??
I'm remembering why I never wanted to get married...Thoughts from tonight's show:
* I had an extremely R-rated if not NC17-rated comment having to do with Max and a piece of meat, but this is a PG board and I have to keep it all to myself...
* I for one wanted to see Kyle dance with Isabel because he's a good foot shorter than her and it would have put his face in a rather compromising position, if you get my meaning.
Well, I seem rather dirty-minded tonight...
* I liked Max and Michael's little investigation of Jesse, although the boys have lost their ability to be inconspicuous about it. And Isabel had every right to be upset when she found out because she isn't careless and would have looked into all of those things herself. However, the jury is still out on Jesse IMO.
* Nice twist to have Khivar show up at the wedding. I was really hoping that Isabel telling him to beat it in a dream wasn't going to be the easy way out of the situation. Next week looks interesting.
* I liked Max's honesty when he went to pick up his shoes and told his parents that what they were doing would alienate (not pun intended) their daughter. Also liked his admission that his behavior had been part of resisting the fact that Isabel no longer needed him to protect her. IMO, she never really needed him. As a matter of fact, I'm willing to bet she could always kick his @ss.
* I just knew Kyle was going to look for Michael when the stuffed-shirt took his money at the pool table.
* I love that Isabel and Kyle finish each others' sentences.
* Jason put on a little weight?
* I liked Liz being mature and telling her father the way it is (both when she said she was catering the wedding and when she said she was going to dance with Max) instead of acting like an immature kid and saying something sarcastic or rebellious. BTW, the look on Max's face when she went to get him to dance was priceless
* If all of Jesse's Harvard buddies were coming in for the wedding, why would he ask Max to be his best man?
* Sweet that Mrs. E. gave Isabel her dress. You were right about that, Tina
* I loved Isabel asking Jim to give her away and him agreeing.
In all, it was on okay episode, but I would love to see a little more M&L interaction, especially in a wedding ep. Maybe now that Liz has laid the cards out to her father, things will be different. And thank God no words like "my son needs me" came out of Max's mouth this week! Does anyone really care about the son storyline? No? That's what I thought.

Well I don't really have much to say about tonights show.. I did all in all like it.. JUST WANTED MORE M/L is that to much to ask? ... OH AND I AM SICK AND TIRED OF IS'S CLEAVAGE BEING SHOVED IN FRONT OF ME... WHY NOT OHHHHHH UMMM MAX IN BOXERS MORE OFTEN.. OR HECK.. SHIRTLESS WILL DO!!!!! Is that to much to ask???? God..... Geeezzzz.. can't a girl just get some good abs to look at???? But no ... boobs and more boobs... Hello... we women have them we don't need to look at them.... God... Ok.. done.. I am going to stop...

i really loved this one. the whole kivar thing stirring up right when iz gets hitched was pretty interesting for a point of conflict... uh, yeah, the son thing is getting a little... yeeeah .
i loved the music tonight as well, there was a lot of music actually... i need to speak with the coordinator about that, good job, reeeal good.
the m&l thing is getting better, but liz, what's up with the eyeliner?! less is more! LESS is MORE!!! i really liked it when liz finally stepped up to dad, but did it in a mature and non-harsh way. good job with that, but remember, less is more...
i liked the fact that kyle got michael to help him out... in fact, i kinda expected it, but i still think that it was cute. but boy, when max nailed jesse, woo hoo! HELLO!!! i was like "damn you're hot!" even though i'm not one for violence, and jesse's cool, but max isn't exactly a "contact" person... you know, he hardly ever gets physical... whoa, that's starting to make me think... uh, yeah, nevermind.
anyway, i'm really looking forward to next week's show! volandra seems pretty damn scary... hmm... i wonder what'll happen next...
p.s.~ MM, on the piece of meat and max... i'm with yah on that one!!!!!
BTW... wouldn't iz's powers enable her to just "fix" that ugly wedding dress? i know, i know, it wouldn't fit the storyline, but she altered her mom's dress!

I just watched this show again and has everyone noticed
Michael and Maria and they way that they are a couple but never together. With them being the two that have been sexually involved, they act like they have been married for 15 or 20 years. At the wedding Michael danced with Is. while Maria sat at the table with her head in her hands. She never did dance. and at the wedding Kyle and Michael were both video taping everyone dancing so Kavar must be on that tape!!!!
Can't wait till next week.
Ok just had to get that out about Michael and Maria kinda reminded me of my own relationship, we never dance either.:O

The only thing I thought was weird.. umm not needed to be said.. was in the other show about the sheets... Michael washing them.. or lack of.. because it still gave the implacation that they were still sleeping together.. but never seen together... Or maybe it was ment to be funny.. I didn't laugh but well who knows... It also seems that everyone knows because of Michael's comment to Iz From what I know about Alien sex he will find out or something to that effect....
Its just that if they are going to put little tid bits into the dialog... SHOW THE COUPLE TOGETHER...
Just my thoughts on it.... And stop making Maria into a nagger.. because that is what she is becoming to Michael
