WooHoo!!!
Its finally here!! Its finally here!!! Only 3 hours 'till the new eppy in Las Vegas!!! You East Coasters are watching it as I'm writing this. Seems like six months since ARCC and about a year since "Max In The City." Here come "The Hybrid Chronicles" and I'm stoked!!!!!!!! Looks like a the best multi-ep story arc yet...man, THREE hours...after waiting this long I didn't think that THREE hours would be so unbearable...c'mon clock....
Re: WooHoo!!!
<TAPPING SCREEN> Brian is that you??? WOW... Watched this one on the edge of my seat.. It was really good even though only 20 sec. of M/L... But it was really good... Good to see Jason on something new.. I mean my tapes are warring out!!
Something is up with Sean.. The looks between him and Liz were well VERY well planned and meant to be VERY noticeable.
Iz was believe able in this one.. Max well what can I say.. He don't need to say a word and he is just great!!!
I laughed my butt off with Tess and Kyle.. They finally found a spot for Tess instead of her pondering over Max.. she is really funny.. What a good match Tess and Kyle make.. and I don't mean romantically.. I mean in general, Now we have M/M and Tess and Kyle.. for the comedy...
I have to say what I have been saying for a while.. I DON'T WANT KYLE TO HAVE POWERS.. It will spoil yet another connection between Max and Liz.. Wow the way Max was going at the hospital.. there are going to be a whole lot of people flying around with capes .. and super powers.... Not a good thing..
Well enough... ENJOY all..
Have a WONDERFUL night and even you too Brian, I missed it on here.. and until.. next time..
signed.....IMM
The NONGENERIC MAX (Jason) FAN... Looking at him.. He is just BEHR PLEASURE!!!!!
(Max to Liz) I believe in you!!
The Hybrid Chronicles
Whoa, I was worried that the show might slow down after the mid-season break (at least until i saw the trailer after "Surprise!" last week) with a lot of M/L stuff through the Feb. sweeps. Glad to see I was wrong. This was the fastest paced eppy that I can recall. It was a good one, too. Even though I had a feeling like I missed an episode or two at first, with all the new characters and the way Max was so at ease seeing Grant, who hasn't been on the show since Oct.
Some initial observations: Grant's equipment that was in his bag in the tent - Some sort of alien tracking/communicating/identifying thing perhaps?
Max used his powers (to stop the bullets) in full view of the unidentified assassin, who, though injured, is still alive, most likely, and now knows about Max and his powers. Not that Max had much of a choice.
Michael was only in one scene briefly. If Alex or Kyle or someone like that is not in an episode its ok. But no Michael feels weird. There was a lot of big-time stuff going on this week and it was odd not to have Michael giving his "That is an amazingly bad idea, Maxwell" type of comments.
Speaking of Alex - Doesn't anyone else find it wierd that no one has mentioned that he is, supposedly, in Sweden. No goodbye scene, no postcards, not a word. Strange. I think he'll be back next week, though, or the week after. And another thing - Isabel told Alex that she couldn't have anyone in her life, boyfriend-wise, and now she's running around with Grant. More than that, in "Surprise!" she argued (with Max and Michael) that she should be able to have someone in her life. Why the big flip-flop?
The Kyle/Tess (K/T) stuff was good, but they disappeared in the second half of the show. Wonder how much of their character-development type subplot was left on the cutting room floor?
Sean - hmmm, just doesn't interest me as of yet...
I'm not going to speculate anymore (remember how POSITIVE I was that Ava and Tess switched before going to New York? (And I'm still wondering - Where the hell did Ava go anyway?)). But even if I still was to speculate, I couldn't about this Laurie. I'm absoulutely stumped. I have no idea who or what she may be, nor why Grant would want to bury her alive, yet provide her with oxygen. Same goes with the mysterious gunman in the woods. Grant? You may think, but with this show's writers its never that simple. And what is Valenti's old buddy Dan really getting at? I have no idea. It all seems like "special unit" deja vu, but with a twist - he isn't coming right out and saying what he's after.
Ok that's it for now, I gotta go try and find more bloopers than that Karen chick.

To Serve and Protect
I'm confused...again. I have more questions than comments.
*If Liz and Kyle are now supposed to be "hybrids", why did they disappear in Wipe Out? The time dimension caught up with those who were HUMAN!
*I don't think Kyle will have a power. I think there was a point in showing us the scene where Liz asked him if he saw things when Max healed him - no, he didn't. Liz is special, I think.
*Did we really need another character? Sean, the cousin. How about giving some under-used (cough Alex cough) character some more air time?
*Who was that shooter? Is he dead? If not, where did he go?
*Max's grilling of Isabel about getting Valenti in trouble diluted the sincerity of his later statement that he believed in her.
*Why would someone bury that girl in the woods?
*I loved all of Kyle's scenes. The part with Buddah was hysterical - "Dude, accept your destiny!" And he had a cell phone! Even though I don't think Kyle will have a super power, it would be hysterical to see him use one for the first time!
*How is Valenti going to wiggle out of this one?
*****Spoilerish? Move on past the *'s if you're concerned *****
I read an interview on Crashdown with Ron Moore - he said the show will shift to the relationships for the rest of the season. Woo hoo! Maybe the PTB do listen to the fans!
*********end of the possible spoilers*******
Gotta run. I'm sure I'll think of more later.

Has anyone else noticed this? While watching Roswell last night, I saw an ad for Dawson's Creek 3 times within that hour. 3 times. Can you remeber the last time you saw Roswell advertised 3 times in an hour? I'm trying to remember if I've seen it 3 times in a week. Just an observation. Seems like Dawson's, Buffy and Angel get a lot of publicity, but the Roswell ads are few and far between, and when you do see them they're usually kinda vague. How are they supposed to get new viewers when they don't promote?
