Tradeskill Trophies
Well, I made the artisan's seal (cost me 6-8K). When I tried to make the trophy, it failed. My skill lvl is 250. Do you know what skill level the trophy requires? And do you know if it is possible to build jewelcraft skill beyond 250?
Just trying to see if it is worth trying to make again.
Re: Tradeskill Trophies
Idoru I typoed on the 260 it was supposed to be 250 with a FIVE. Sorry, I usually catch my typos. However some items do seem to either never be trivial or are trivial beyond the 250 limit. Sorry bout that.

Re: Tradeskill Trophies
Hey guys.... Here is what I know...
All trophies are triv at 250+...the average success rate for then is about 1 in every 5 attempts....
However....here is a little trick I have been experimenting with that has proved thus far to be successful and could save a lot of you money and components especially in the higher lvls of crafting....
This may sound a little odd....but.....warm up first!!! Do a few low lvl items first before crafting something a little more difficult and the chances of your success will increase....here is a great example:
A while back, Meelena was going to make some fine steel for someone. I went and gathered all the ingredients and since I was working on smithing myself, I offered to make all the sheets for here...so I did and she failed 4 out of the first 5 attempts. She tried again the next day and made the sheets herslf and she never failed on the first 5. Tried this with a few other skills and got the same results.

Success stat?
Okay, I tried this and still failed.
What stat is success based on for Jewelrycraft -- int, wis, both, or higher of the two...or something else?
I am thinking that i need to raise the success stat to 255 then try it again.
What do you think?

Re: JC success stat
I see this is old as far as no posts in a few months,
But the trophy is tough as all get out it took me 4 trys with 250 skill and geerlock,
I have friends that have failed 7 times, it is one of those things the RNG can be mean as all get out on and can be nice also,
I have other friends that have made there trophy at 200 skill on other trades,
So bottom line is it is imho well worth the effort, i make the artisans seals alot so if any of you want one made let me know,
I will do it at cost now there is always the possibility of failure on that too but i have failed once out of 7 times of making the seal,
anywho i hope some of that mumble jumbo helped Oh and also one other thing not sure if it is true cause i still failed 3 times lol but there is some that believe if you use the old world containers meaning plain jewelers kit etc etc you will have more luck ** shrug**
Also i wanted to add the highest visable skill is 250 in any skill and the highest modified is 252 so in that if you have skill 250 in any skill +5% with geerlock Or trophy or any other item modifier it still as i have been told brings you to only 252 in skill,,
