Turn up the heat...
it's cold in here. Can we all say "backburner", folks?
Where's the story for NHGB these days? I checked the many sources for May sweeps spoilage and got a big fat "nada" concerning any story for Nora. I am not happy over this lack of story and hope there is more to May sweeps than is being reported.
Anyone heard anything different? Please say yes...cause I am majorly bummed. If I didn't know better I would say the current writing staff are not very fond of the character...but since I do know better I am wondering what exactly is the problem.
Oh to be a fly on the wall in the castle. What gossip I could tell!

I am upset about no mention of Nora in the spoiler's also afterall Nora is the only reason i watch this dark twisted show
If HBS is backburnered because of this triangle they want to have with Nora and Bo and Gabby i am going to be one very unhappy viewer. Sorry Bo and Nora are a thing of the past time to move on and give Nora a storyline without trying to prop Bo up let Gabby have him and give Nora somebody that lite's her fire.

Trying to reunite Bo and Nora is about the most pathetic
thing the show could do at this point, they are so terribly
boring, no magic anywhere. Too bad, they were good at
one time.

I, on the other hand, hope for a well written and well executed reunion between Bo and Nora. A love story (be it Troy or Bo) or a triangle does not, in itself, a story make (ya gotta add conflict or angst, baby!). Don't confuse the fact that Nora is currently in Bo's orbit rather than Troy's orbit for the lack of SL (Heck, she would be just as backburned in Troy's orbit as she is now...since we see him once a week)
Now...I initially brought this into the GENERAL NORA DISCUSSION board, without displaying my preference for BN, to see if someone had some scoops...not to get into a Tora vs B&N war. There are other folders/discussion topics that allow us to openly gush over our preferred pairings.

I too am bummed about nothing written anywhere for Hillary and or Nora...=( I have been watching in the hopes that this changes but if nothing gets better I might be turning off OLTL for a few months...It's not like I'll miss anything...I only watch for Hillary and when she doesn't get the great stories that she deserves well then I find the rest of the show tiresome at best...We know she gets kidnapped *yawn* how many times has this happened to the poor woman...lol. Oh well maybe they are keeping spoilers from us Waken.Wouldn't be the first time. Some romance would be nice...well shall see.

Sorry Waken i was not trying to start anything i am just upset because i am afraid we will not get to see my favorite gal HBS.
I want to see Nora in a great storyline no matter whome she is paired with i don't want her to disappear from my TV screen.
BTW i have'nt heard anything.

Yeah, I agree with all of you in stating that we are not getting enough NHGB on our screens each week. I love umbrella SL's because they encompass so many of the characters but it does not appear, at this point in the SL, that Nora has much to do with the Mitch/Dorian SL. **I have heard a "rumor" that Mitch will appear to die but will not actually be dead**. Who knows how reliable this rumor is (it comes from the infamous DL) but maybe this is the event that allows Nora to become involved in this umbrella SL. I certainly hope so!!!

I can't imagin that they would have one of there best fan favorites not be in the May sweep. Although i am confused about a lot of thing's pertaining to OLTL lately.

There are so many vet actors that are not getting the airtime they deserve (and we deserve) these days. Here is the list of backburned characters:
Viki ,Nora, RJ, Asa, Renee, Bo, Max, Gabby, Troy
When we do get the pleasure of seeing these characters on-screen it is usually only to prop up the other characters. Troy is propping Blair, Viki is propping Nat and Jess, Renee is propping Jen and Joey, Asa is propping Nigel and Roxy, etc.
The only adults we are seeing on ONE LIFE these days are Dorian, Blair, Mitch, and Antonio. I don't really count Nigel and Roxy since they are not really propelling any storyline right now...they are merely comic relief. The rest of the time we get to watch Jen, Jess, Rex, Joey, Flash, Al, Marcie, Cole, Nat and Cris. The scary part is that I expect TPTB to be bringing on more teens. I don't mind some teens (Al and Marcie are a pleasant surprise) but everything in Llanview seems to revolve around them.
Here's to hoping that JG and MM have not forgotten how to write for adults because if they have then I will easily forget how to watch the show.

If this their way of cutting the budget they may be cutting these Vet. actor's right off the show.
We know most of the one's you mention would not have any problem's moving to another show after all they want to do what they love most and that is to act.
If they are backburner because they are paid to much money
when their contract is up they may move on.
