UPDATED CAMPAIGN & CONTACT INFO!
I just wanted to update everyone on a couple things regarding our ongoing campaign for HBS. I currently have a thread going on the Soap Central (SOC) message board, entitled “HBS Fans Kept Waiting – Spoiler!” I started this thread a few days ago, under my SOC posting name “NoraDiva1”, and you can currently find it on page 1 of the board. The response has just been amazing, and there are some serious emotions going on in this thread. So many HBS fans have weighed in; Raven has helped keep the thread alive and said some absolutely beautiful things about Hillary yesterday. In fact, she & Ryan Clements (SOC “Two Scoops” columnist) have been very outspoken over the past several months in support of HBS, which is why I started the thread there. A lot of Hill’s fans only post on SOC or other big boards, and some of them simply aren’t aware of her official website & Nora fan boards. My goal is to pull as many of those posters into the campaign effort we have going, and to keep HBS’s name on as many boards and forums as possible. I know for a fact that many ABC execs & actors read the SOC board, so the more exposure IMO, the better. So if you guys post on SOC, please try to help me keep the thread going. Every now and then, some genius clears the boards & I have to start all over again – LOL! That board moves so fast and things keep getting pushed down. I also placed all of the ABC contact info. in the thread for everyone.
Speaking of contact info., I did some research on the chain of command @ ABC and here’s what I came up with. Anne Sweeney truly is THE top of the chain in terms of writing. Not only is she Brian Frons’s supervisor, but she controls all of the programming for ABC – daytime, primetime and international. Also, I just located a working telephone number for fans to weigh in to Brian Frons. I assure you that I didn’t commit any felonies or invade anyone’s privacy to get this number (Wink!) This # has been circulating for quite awhile in cyberspace, as well as on ABC’s own corporate website, and was put out there for us to use. The # is direct to Frons’ office, so let’s start using it. Here you go: 818-460-7020. Also, here’s a suggestion for writing TPTB: I would carbon Sweeney on everything you mail to Frons, and copy Frons on everything you send to Valentini & Higley. Let’s work the chain of command and ensure that the right people are actually getting our letters!
