Upper and lower control arms
One of my roadrunners is missing upper and lower control arms, etc. it was being parted out before I
rescued it from the great beyond. What years will fit. I've tried looking for just 70 arms but all i seem to find is 68, 69. I believe they are the same but in 1970 something was different with the sway bar(I was told). before I go to the trouble of buying and taking arms off another year I thought I'd ask and be sure
of what years will fit.

Re: Upper and lower control arms
uppersshould be the same for those years. I think a nice set of tubular ones from Magnum force is 300 bucks and they have the stock type screw in bal joints and poly control arm bushings preinstalled.

Lowers were changed in '70 as the sway bar pass through the k bar and mounted to the lower control arms at a different point. '69 and earlier had the hoop bar that passed over the k bar, if I remember right it is hard to find aftermarket sawy bars for the older ones. I swaped my entire lower setup out on my '69 in order to run the discs and sway bar package I wanted

'69 Road Runner 383 going to 440, 6brl hood, likely gonna race it '70 Challenger R/T clone 440, 2nd owner, 300,00 miles on body, not kidding '92 Cummins 1 ton, in need of restoration bad '79 360 1 ton flatbed-for sale '01 WS6 T/A- for sale

Re: Upper and lower control arms
you are already 1/2 way to switching over to discs.lol ...find a 73-76A body with discs and pirate everything from it and your in business! if you stay how you are, those tubular arms are sweet, they give you a better angle on your caster and ball joint angle, she'll handle like a dream!! you won't even need a swaybar with them and poly bushings.
