VIN I Need help before I purchase a car I am interested in!!
I am new to your site,

I have two mopars already and I am about to purchase a 69 Roadrunner. However when I attempted to verify the VIN as a Roadrunner in my Yearone catalog I found a disrepency. Yearone says 68-74 Roadrunners have a RM beginning two digits on the VIN tag. The car I am looking at has a RH instead of RM. The title says Roadrunner, is the seller trying to sell me a doctored up Sattelite???
I would appreciate any help from anyone who knows.

p.s. My two mopars are a 66 Belvedere 2 dr hardtop, and a 72 Dart Swinger that I am going to drop a 440-mag into.

R = Belvedere / Satellite
H = Satellite(68-70),
23 = 2-door hardtop
H = 383ci/330hp or 335hp 4-bbl V8 (1968-69)
9= 1969 model year
A = Lynch Road, Detroit, MI (assembly Plant)

The car is most likely a Sport Satellite. If it were a Road Runner the second letter would be an M.

Even if it is a Sport Satellite, it would make a nice car.....but it's not a Road Runner.
