Re: WA Round 2
Yeah there is a few new drivers and cars entered for this weekend. In the Unders, Colin Harper in a Mirage is making his debut, so that will make 3 Mirages out there with Roger Waghorn out there for the first time this year as well. Colin is actually a former Scottish Formula Ford champion so he should go pretty well I would think. Sean Ferrall is also meant to be out there this meet after putting new engine in the Integra after last years Nationals.

In the Overs Mal Beale is scheduled to make his debut. Also racing IP for the first time will be Glen Brocklehurst in his XC Cobra. And Stewart Mace will be debuting in a WRX. So it looks like it should be a good round.

Cheers

Re: sweet
Good to see the numbers are building up in the west!!

Are you guys getting your own races at this stage or still combined with the "Street Car (?)" class?

Re: sweet
Yeah we still run with the "Series 6 RX7 Club", oops, sorry the Street Cars. That will continue until we get enough cars to fill the grid ourselves. Hopefully within a year or 2.

Re: WA Round 2
I know Ive asked a similar question to this before, but does this post from ten-tenths relate to Sean's dad?

"I just was having a read through the RCN race report for the Wanneroo round of the 1990 ATCC and found this:

"There were two other local Group A entries, one for Geoff Herbert (in the ex-Tim Slako Rover, and still with its pink roll cage) and a Lancia Delta Integrale for John Farrell. Farrell pulled out of the running before qualifying, while Herbert became the first driver of the 1990 season to miss under the 115 percent rule."

Anyone have any info or pics about the John Farrell car? Was it one of the ex-rally cars that was used in the ARC? I've never heard of the Lancia Delta Integrale being used as a touring car before."

I hope Im not breaking any of those rules that the mods have here by putting a link to the thread this post is from, guys blow it away if you feel the need.

Re: WA Round 2
Nah, that is not about Sean's dad. His dad's name is Peter. And it is actually a different surname, Ferrall versus Farrell. Hope that clears it up for you doggo.

Fish mate,
How did you manage to warp the inlet manifold? And why did you go and bend the valve so close to race weekend? :)

Hopefully we will see you and car up at the track tomorrow, if not will see just you up there.

Cheers

Firstly....Cheers Pete, your wishes found their way to the old girl and she did us proud, didn't miss a beat all weekend. ;)

2ndly, thanks Fish, a win is a win and I will accept it gratefully.
As the saying goes...to finish first...blah blah blah !!

Gotta admit, it's a bit of a buzz starting off the front row in your first outing! :eek

Tough luck to you too Fish, hope whatever the problem is easily rectified.

Bring on the next round :D
