Walkie Talkies Made by Motorola T-5820 Radios Review
Manufacturer: Walkie Talkies Made by Motorola
Model: T-5820
Category: Radios

Purchase: Everyone at camp has been using them for sometime now so I figured I'd better make the jump and get a pair for me and my brother. Paid about $100, but was expecting to get a $25.00 rebate back.

Likes: Lots of gadgets to play with. It's great being able to communicate with the entire camp. One guy yelled into them the first day "here they come" which left all of us with guns up. Unfortunately he didn't say which one of us he was talking to, idiot. That's the problem with camps, you get all sorts of winners.

Dislikes: I was 100% ripped off with their rebate offer. It took them forever to reply to it and then came back with the receipt I provided wasn't sufficient, please provide another one. That was the sales receipt from a very reputable retailer. They have my receipt and now I have nothing to prove I ever bought them. Rebates are a rip off and I won't fall for them anymore. I would think a company like Motorola wouldn't allow this to happen as their name is on the product.

Quality: Great

Summary: I was very happy with them until I was scammed out of the rebate. Don't fall for it, buy them on sale, but not the discount. This is too nice of a product to be scammed out of a rebate.
