I rode through the Marina on my bike this morning and it was bitterly cold. A couple of chaps were coming their boat and I thought to myself "Rather you than me"!

David, Glad to hear you are acquainted with the SSCA website. The membership also is worth the money. Since you want to do the five Capes, you might see if you can get the letter written in April of 2003 by Ed Arnold on NOMAD which was published in the July 2003 SSCA Commmodores' Bulletin. Ed single-handed around the five Capes and give several excellent tips to make it safer and easier. I was really impressed. Annette
I joined last year, although I pay more than you yanks, overseas postage being the culprit I still feel it is good value for all the great info recieved in the bulletins and especially from the users of the website.
I just did a search for Ed Arnold on SSCA, nothing archived unfortunately.If you have a copy is there any chance that you could email me with it I really will appreciate it.
