I am delighted to give our (in)formal welcome to our new member, who is in Dublin, as well as our Ninshubur!!! Gods, two Gateways members in Dublin! *jumping up and down with joy on the chair... Who knows, maybe we find a way to have our first world convention in there???? One of these years...
It is always a pleasure to greet a New Member who loves ancient stories and Everlasting Mesopotamia. Indeed, this is one of the greatest highs of doing Gateways...
Scathach, this is our board. I see Gateways, the site and board now, as a joint effort. Explore and enjoy... the understated rule here is to follow the Discipline of Pleasure and the Pursuit of Passion in all levels.
I learnt with my instructors, Caitlin and John Matthews of Celtic Wisdom, that High Magick should be grounded in history and that the ways of the Spirit are the ways of Joy, inner and outer. Ok, there is lots of work to do to reshape the soul again and again, but... Magick is about creativity. And humour and guts and ... finding oneīs own voice in all worlds.
Do us a little favour? When you and Nina meet, have a glass of wine for us, and we will be with you in Spirit too!!!

Thinking it over, a world convention sounds... too serious... for us, Mesos in the soul, if we meet in Ireland... it will be a pub crawl

As you can see, I've finally given in to the Forces of Darkness (i.e. Ezboard) and have changed my handle to 'Scathach25'. Argh...! Numbers after my name. I might as well be resigned to my fate and join a Yahoo chatroom. Soon I'll have NetBuddies such as Vizier_of_Chaos252 and Wonder_Woman29456.
