I picked blackberries out along the road the other day and canned jam, and today picked blueberries and will be freezing them... Umm.. also I have goats, chickens, and a cat and that takes time... but is SO much fun! Then, tonz of company lately, and working for my dad building mini-barns... whew! lots! But, I DO have a pretty counted cross-stitch to finish. However... it's been siting in pretty much the same condition for some time now. My sister and I made a sewing bag wallhanging - similar to a shoe bag - it hangs on the wall and has pockets for sewing items. I only have a picture scanned of the applique that was in the middle, so that is what this link shows. www.freewebs.com/families...etgirl.jpg

I'm sure the recipient was thrilled! What a wonderful keepsake. Are you working on any new projects now? I remember you mentioned making a doll quilt in the chatroom. Lately, I've been so busy (or disorganized) that I haven't had time to sit down and work on my crafts. I look forward to getting back to them as life slows down a tad. I don't work on my crochet as much as I would like to, though. I'm making myself a scarf, but if I don't start working on it more, I'll never finish it before it gets cold!
